Update on Crakburn

Tracy & Joe(Crakburn),

I wish the best. I went through this last summer when my teacher and more importantly good friend was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It very tough but it showed how many peoples lives he had touched as everyone was preying for them as we are now for Joe. Good luck and god bless.

i have no idea what to say here...

i wish your family the best. i don't know Joe too well, but he was always a polite and upbeat guy here, a real fan, and a valued member of our little community.

he has many, many friends here, Tracy. he's a class act.

Also, I just remembered something that my science teacher told our class about last year. There is a screen saver that you can download that when your computer is not in use(but is on) it is actually processing cancer research and works with other computers to basically form a 'supercomputer'. just wanted to take the time to echo the sentiments of the other posters here. crakburn has been in my thoughts a lot recently, and although i don't know him, this news hits hard. my deepest sympathy is going out to you. please let him know how strongly the community here feels about him.

It's an amazing statement about the world we live in where one brave man, who none of us has had the pleasure of meeting face to face, can have such a profound impact on all our lives.

The measure of a man is in the way he impacts the lives of others. Joe must be a great man to have had that effect on people he's never met.

I just want to ask the posters To follow his example when It comes down to respect. He was polite regardless of the situation .

Anyways , he is still with us , so lets not mope , let celebrate his stay with us here.

I never saw crackburn post much, but when I did I always made sure to read what he wrote. The guy was definitely very football savvy and his knowledge of the game was something else.

Tracy, I am at a loss for words. I don't frequent the Browns forum too often so I did not see this thread. I did not know the severity of his condition, and this is crushing news. My deepest condolensces go out to you, and your family.

I would like to echo the sentiments of all the people who have responded here. Joe was one of the great contributors to this site, and I always enjoyed reading his opinions on the Browns.

Please know that Joe, yourself, and your entire family will be in my thoughts and prayers in this difficult time. Also, please let Joe know that we are all thinking about him, and that, in spirit, he is not alone. He has friends all over the country.
