I don't know if yall have heard but the Chiefs signed Eric Crouch today to play safety. We're going to send him to NFL Europe this spring to play there and let him develop I guess. I absolutely do not know what to think of this, besides the initial apprehension I have. We need impact players this offseason not players who have to entirely learn a new position in NFL Europe.

His agent says he has a different attitude which i can believe bc maybe he can except his not a qb anymore and he really wants to be an NFL player. Good pick up by Chiefs maybe.

Its worth a shot the guy is a hell of an athlete, and could help in the long run if he sticks with it or if we stick with him. He couldn't have cost anything.

None of us signed him. He was probably around $5 anyways, and if anyone thought he would be a good player in the NFL he wouldn't have been around to sign in the first place.

This is no big deal. I doubt he even makes the roster.

Rolling Eyes I am a very big Nebraska fan!!!! But I am extreemly surprised at KC's move to use him at safety! I can see him running back a punt or kick but you already have a great player for this position. I do know he would be a great 2nd or 3rd running back with an option to fake throw it or run. He will be very valuable if his heart is in the right place this time. Ya know this guy has great mobility, very smart, and extreemly versitile. This may be a smart move and probably didn't cost you a thing.

i think this could be a good signing. the fact that he has played qb could help in the secondary. he is a great athlete the ???is whether or he is a hitter? his versatility could be an asset

I watched eric have an interview with Travis Justice from the channel 3 station. He was asked why safty? His reply was that he like to hit people. He also said that it would take him to long to the learn and get into the feeling of the QB spot. Crouch was reminded that this is his 4th shot at the NFL. He said he did not feel into the game and his heart was not fully there. But after all this time off, and getting the feel of owning his own business, he can and will put forth everything he has to contribute to the KC Chiefs. Hay fans this guy is ready to play ball!!!!! Exclamation

If all that's true, this could end up being a nice move by the Chiefs. I'll definitely be watching for him in NFL Europe.

Eric Crouch - I think it is great we got him because in the 2004 and 2005 season J Woods and G Wesley got hurt and we had to put in our backup
