Its almost that time again. My favorite Holiday for sure, you can't beat Food, Football and Family. I moved to New York this year from California so I wont be able to hang out with the fam, So i am super looking forward to the food.
Last year someone recommended in this thread this recipe http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/guy-fieri/the-mean-green-recipe/index.html and it was a hit

I am thinking about making this for the turkey http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/good-eats-roast-turkey-recipe/index.html except I scale down for two people Laughing

What are you going to be making/ eating this Thanksgiving?

Thinking about just doing a large whole turkey breast in a slow cooker and frying up the skin or something. Anyone else had slow cooked turkey before, how was it?

Sweet Potatoes with Marshmallows on top

Brine your turkey. It make a world of difference, regardless of how you cook it.

I'll be brining a turkey, and then trowing it on the smoker this year.

Turkey sucks. Go against tradition and make ribs. Coat those ribs with brown sugar and honey BBQ and thank me later
