This place has been deserted for a while. Want to see if we can find an ancient civilization?

hey boys, gonna be moving to new Orleans within a couple months here, and I was just looking for some advice. where are the nice places to live, what are the areas to stay away from. anything I need to know before I move? I've only been there once, to play Tulane in rugby, so I don't know to much about it.

any advice would be nice and very appreciated. thanks!

So... Jimmy Graham didn't make the Top 100 list on the NFL Network, somehow Dennis Pitta made it, but not Graham... wtf?

I personally wouldn't advise you to live in the city, there are a lot of nice places just outside to get away from the hussle and bussle (and tiny narrow streets). But do, by all means, explore the city itself regardless of if you move into it or not. Visit the restaurants and the museums and stuff.

One major thing that will change for you is the weather. It's hot very very very often down here so make sure you get good air conditioning.

And last but not least, there will be lots and lots of Saints fans.

Cool thanks. I've been looking around the north coast area, and in metarie. Is there anywhere i need to keep away from? my gf found a place she thinks that she likes around algiers, how is that area. We are all pretty young 20-25, so location and accessibility to fun is what we are looking for primarily.

I was just reading in some forum history because I was bored, and came across a Saints vs Colts super bowl thread.

Somehow Raves is a genius and predicted the future when everyone doubted it. Wink

Here's a fun fact. 31/43 super bowls have been decided by a touchdown or more. I think that we'll add one to that.

You're right, the Saints will add one more to that when they win.

I'm probably an idiot for just no realizing this, and you all probably all know this, but I just realized from reading a bunch of interviews/Sean Payton's book that Belichick and Payton are really close friends. (It also explains why we train with the Pats every year Laughing ) The best offensive mind in the game, and the best defensive mind in the game.. if only they worked together. Twisted Evil Razz Wink
