How do you guys run your defense in Madden? Like, what strategies do you use when drafting a defense and playing it.
My defensive roster, for example:
Primary formation is the Nickel package
RE - Red Bryant
DT - Sione Pouha, Ahtya Rubin
LE - Isaac Sopoaga
LB - Aldon Smith, Rolando McClain
CB - Chris Carr, Kelly Jennings, Chris Johnson
SS - Reggie Nelson
FS - Chris Clemons
All high-strength linemen, athletic LBs, and fast DBs.
Just a few nuggets about this defense:
1. My defense leads the league in the TO differential, with a +27.
2. Isaac Sopoaga leads the league in sacks, he currently sits at 17.
3. Chris Clemons has 7 interceptions.
4. No team has gained more than 250 yards on my defense, with no team gaining over 75 rushing yards.

I run a 2-4-5 and a 3-4 most of the time.
I like big strong linemen. I don't get many sacks with them, but they rarely get moved at all. Big athletic LBers, Martez Wilson types. Big physical safeties, Kam Chancellor types. Small quick CBs usually, but sometimes I'll get big physical CBs and smaller ballhawking safeties. _________________

I made it perfectly clear that if you were going to stay here, you were going to keep quiet. _________________

Would any of you gents be interested in GMing at the end of preseason for New Orleans in a mock draft? If so, please check the GM Mock Draft Forum. Also, Contribooting.

My dad is so defensive minded when it comes to football. A DB would have to break a WRs arm off and beat him to death with it before my dad would agree that a penalty should be called. _________________

Anyone else get really irritated after reading something written by Adam Rank on NFL.com?
Not being a homer, but saying the Saints will finish in the .500 area is slightly retarded. _________________

I see it on here too. Whatever, the Saints aren't going to be affected by this bounty stuff nearly as bad as everyone thinks. _________________
