Another part of personal information that people should remove...
MySpace and Facebook.
I know there is a few members here that include their MySpace and/or Facebook's in their little personal ticker at the bottom of every post. Bad, bad idea. Not only do you give away your name, you also give away the city you are currently and a picture of yourself.
Very, very bad idea to have a Facebook/MySpace in your sig.

Not necessarily on this site, but they have been out there on the internet. A bigger concern on this type of forum is probably identity theft, which I know is terrible experience firsthand, and easy to be a victim of. |

Do you have ebay... Than they can use spyware and find out your pay pal password... Or even if you do your bills online... Or even if you collect unemployement they can find out your social security and credit card #'s.... I doubt you never used a credit card (or any using your computer)on line.........

meh, whatever, in almost every city in north america, you can open a phonebook and get someones name, phone # and full address.
plus its not like that rapist only use the internet, they have been around since the dawn of time, and did it without the internet up to a few years ago.
and interent actually helps you catch rapists. it makes it much easier to preted to be a child and cops are using that to catch rapists.
If anything, from my point of viw interent is helping , not harming.
