Like the mock. Like the rumors you pick up even better. I don't think Xavier will still be around at Rd 7, do you? Been hearing a little too much about him.

He is still a small school player w/ a 4.5 or so 40 time so questions will remain about his ability to play in the NFL.

His name is mainly being mentioned in Packers circles, so I wouldn't be to worried.

I always like your mocks, but I have 2 questions:

1) Do you really believe Antoine Cason will work with our man coverage? I've seen film on him and he just seems like a better fit for the Tampa 2 style zone coverage.

2) Do you think Justin King is really gonna work in the pros? Even for how fast he is he's been burnt horribly in college.

How do you mean that Cason "seems like a better fit for the Tampa 2 style zone coverage"? I see this statement a lot, but wonder what indicates a better fit.

From the film that I have watched, he plays man nearly every play. I wouldn't even know by watching film if he could play in a zone. I see range in his stride where he can stick with a guy all over the field.

he just doesn't seem physical enough to jam recievers at the line. I don't know i guess he can learn how, but I'm just a little skeptical.

Jamming guys at the line is what the cover 2 corner play depends on.

If he can't jam, then he certainly isn't a fit in the cover 2.

the Tampa 2 is zone coverage, i didn't say cover 2. He'll be better off playing zone coverage and get his picks like Ronde Barber.

The tampa 2 is the cover 2 for DBs. What makes the Tampa 2 the Tampa 2 is the one gap DL and the MLB who drops deeper into the deep middle.

yup and the CB generally try to reroute the WR's then play curl flat coverage.

The only beef I have (and it is picky) is Martellius Bennett, not b/c I don't think he will be good, but we already have minimally one maybe two players just like him on our roster.

We have two receiving threat TEs that can't block, that's Bennett to the T. I'd prefer a more complete TE like a John Carlson or Brad Cottam. Other than that, good job!
