L Rob has been released. Caldy continues to get rid of Gene's garbage. _________________

So how many starters is that from last season? Cox, Landry, D Smith, Mathis, PotRoast (projected at least), Robinson. Technically you can throw in Aaron Ross and Guy Whimper. But talk about changing it up. _________________

Him or even at this point I'm expecting trades of MJD or Marcedes. Doesn't seem like anyone is safe. _________________

Not thrilled about gutting the team, but whatever. _________________

I kinda want us to go sign DBH. He should be able to be had on the cheap. Let him work with Sullivan and get all those issues worked out. _________________

With the cuts and inactivity, the front office doesn't seem interest in fielding a competitive team. There's no reason to sign a guy who could make you better. _________________

*sigh* We were 2-14 and haven't fielded a competitive team since 2007. Changes need to be made, even if they're hard.
For what it's worth, Laurent said at his workout or whatever it was yesterday that he felt weird. He may end up having to retire.
We also knew that the team wasn't going to be active in the early stages of Free Agency. It's been repeated ad nauseum. That doesn't mean that we won't sign anyone. _________________

Agree. I thought he was turning a corner last year. I'd love to bring him in and let Sullivan work his magic. _________________

Only prob with DHB coming here would be that he would have to play the slot and he isn't the best route runner in the world. His hands have gotten better recently but that hasn't been proven while going across the middle either. We need a pure possession receiver to help Gabbert (whoever the QB is) in the passing game. _________________

I'd put Blackmon in the slot and DHB outside. Blackmon plays the role of possession receiver and have 2 explosive guys outside. _________________

Really liked him coming in, real shame the concussions got to him. Hope that he is smart and just retires. _________________

You play Blackmon and Shorts in two WR formations, and then kick Blackmon inside in three WR sets and DHB on the outside.
I think Blackmon can be more explosive than DHB as well, at least as far as deep routes go. _________________
