Hill would be a good get. Not fond of the other two.

Delmas is a good player when healthy, so a cheap one year deal could be possible. I wouldnt be against it, and given the depth behind Delmas in Sanford and Raymond, it could be worth the risk.

Durant seems to be a better run defender than Levy and is decent in coverage, but he is injury prone as well.

Hill is my fav of the bunch, could be a good role player.

The first-ever Reggie Bush free-agency tour was a short one. Per a league source, the Lions and Bush have agreed to terms on a new contract.

Bush reportedly was offered the starting job in Detroit, something that other interested teams may not have been willing (Cardinals) or able (Redskins) to do. For Bush, playing time is far more important than money, given that he has made a whole lot of it in seven NFL seasons, entering the league as the second overall pick in the draft and striking plenty of lucrative endorsement deals.

It'll be interesting to see how they use him. While he's still a decent player, he hasn't nearly been the threat catching the ball out of the backfield that he used to be.

He's back on a fast track, with a team that is a pass first team....I think they'll find plenty of ways to use him. I don't think he's the best RB in football, but I think they'll get plenty of use out of him.

Detroit is a pretty good fit for him...they never run the ball.

This move so far is the only one that really strikes any fear(not devastating) in me as far as any moves that other NFC North teams made.

Bushrod and Bennett to Chicage are good but I dont think they change the scope of game-planning as much as Bush does.

If Detroit can find any type of an actual running game they can be scary...same goes for Green Bay..no one respects their run game and they gameplan accordingly

People say Bush isnt any type of a running back but they are wrong..he has had a couple of great years in MIA on a team that wasnt very good. He can run between the tackles better than people think and he is a threat as a receiver outta the backfield.

If he is still returning kicks/punts then it scares me even more, especially as he seems to dominate against us even though our special teams are better.

Sounds like the Lions have snagged Glover Quin too. Good signing, he was one of the only guys I saw making 1v1 tackles on AP this year.

Detroit is gonna have a good ball club this year. If they can get some CB and LB help early, they will be a force next year, that's for sure.

I'll believe that when I see it. People are always predicting the Lions to step up and contend for the division, but they just can't seem to put it all together. They seemed to be headed in the right direction after 2011, but took another step back last season. The talent is certainly there, but it's no sure thing they'll be a force next year.

If we don't seriously improve the middle of the defense, it could be a long season with Reggie Bush and potentially Steven Jackson.

The Lions announced that starting LT Jeff Backus is retiring. Well, that creates a need.

Signing Reggie Bush doesn't make a difference if they have no one to create holes for him. Now, they've lost both starting tackles. Oops. Wink

Cherilus sucked. Not really a loss. Backus has been getting worse

Addition by subtraction. Reiff time as he looked solid. Fisher or Joekel at 5 option too.

Excited about the youth movement!
