thats the reason why i wanted nothing to do with him and why he fell to round 2. he looks sloppy. |
It's not shaping up to be a great reciever class. You have the headcase (Blackmon), the guy who doesn't seem to care (Jeffery), the rawer than raw project (Hill), and the walking injury (Childs). |
there is still hope with Floyd and Randle, who both happened to be my fav. WRs in this class. |

Of all the threads you could have posted that link, you picked a very odd one. Perhaps the training camp thread would have been more appropriate. |

It was...this is, by far, the least appropriate place to put it. At least put forth an effort JC, to put it in a good spot. Don't just pick a random spot. It could have been put in the training camp spot, or even the "Anything" Thread. _________________

He was productive tonight. It will probably take until next year, but once he gets his body right he will be very good WR.
Its the Bears thread but Justin Blackmon looked really good last night. I was surprised how well his YAC ability transferred to the NFL. He literally made the first person miss on each of his 4 catches last night.
Rod Streater and Kendall Wright have also been solid. I believe Blackmon will have the best production based off of what I saw last night, but those other guys should challenge. _________________

Bears rookie safety Brandon Hardin was taken off the field on a stretcher after suffering what appeared to be a neck injury in the third quarter of Saturday night’s preseason game.
Hardin lowered his head and led with his helmet in tackling Redskins tight end Logan Paulsen, and on the impact he dropped to the ground and did not get up. Hardin was down on the ground for several minutes being attended to by the medical staff. Eventually a stretcher and a cart were brought out, and Hardin was taken off the field. It was a very good sign that Hardin raised his hands and gave a thumbs-up as he was being carted off the field.

Marshall has been praising Jeffery saying he looks better then he did his rookie season getting off the line. I've read a few posts about Jeffery being fat or not being able to get it together in this thread; you really need to read about him. He'll be our #2 receiver with Earl in the slot sooner then later. |

Buccaneers released Amobi Okoye who was dealing with injury issues, he is already working on a deal to re-sign with the Bears.

Early on, it's been real hit and miss with the Bears. Their offensive line has been absolutely atrocious pass-blocking, but pretty good run-blocking. _________________

The Bears got their season off on the right foot with a 41-21 win over the Colts on Sunday, but that didn’t stop them from making a few changes to their roster on Monday.
They announced Monday that they have signed veteran tackle Jonathan Scott to a contract. Scott was released by both the Steelers and the Lions this summer before landing in Chicago. The Bears also waived punter Ryan Quigley to make room for Scott on the roster and they also announced that they have reinstated defensive tackle Nate Collins to the active roster.

Did anyone watch the game yesterday? It was brutal. Cutler sacked 7 times. First since 2000. The Packers defense is night and day the last two weeks. Wonder which one we will get to see.
On a sidenote, Jamarcus Webb may be the worst lineman in the NFL. I wonder if a Mike Tice connection could bring over McKinnie from the Ravens bench. _________________
