According to Mike Mayock's draft rankings and team needs the draft will look something like this
1.Miami-Matt Ryan QB Boston College
2.St. Louis-Sedrick Ellis DT USC
3.Atlanta-Jake Long OT Michigan
4.Oakland-Chris Long DE Virginia
5.Kansas City-Ryan Clady OT Boise State
6.New York Jets-Vernon Gholston DE/OLB Ohio State
7.New England-Leodis McKelvin CB Troy
8.Baltimore-Phillip Merling DE Clemson
9.Cincinnati-Glenn Dorsey DT LSU
10.New Orleans-Brandon Flowers CB Virginia Tech
11.Buffalo-Keith Rivers OLB USC
12.Denver-Dan Connor MLB Penn State
13.Carolina-Jeff Otah OT Pittsburgh
14.Chicago-Chris Williams OT Vanderbilt
15.Detroit-Aquib Talib CB Kansas
16.Arizona-Derrick Harvey DE Florida
17.Minnesota-Mario Manningham WR Michigan
18.Houston-Reshard Mendenhall RB Illinois
19.Philadelphia-Limas Sweed WR Texas
20.Tampa Bay-DeSean Jackson WR California
21.Washington-Lawrence Jackson DE USC
22.Dallas-Darren McFadden RB Arkansas
23.Pittsburgh-Gosder Cherilus OT Boston College
24.Tennessee-Malcolm Kelly WR Oklahoma
25.Seattle-Fred Davis TE USC
26.Jacksonville-Calais Campbell DE Miami
27.San Diego-Kentwan Balmer DT North Carolina
28.Dallas-DaJuan Morgan S N.C. State
29.San Francisco-Erin Henderson OLB Maryland
30.Green Bay-Kenny Phillips S Miami
31.New York Giants-Mike Jenkins CB USF
Remember this is my version of the draft done by Mike Mayock's draft rankings so it can't be that far off, just remember that he's pretty close to right every year

I would love to see the explanation behind drafting a DT with the 7th pick.
Do you know the Patriots have Vince Wilfork? _________________

Mayock is a tard. There is no way that the patriots would take Glenn Dorsey. Wow I thought this was going to be decent. What a joke. Right side of the ball but wrong position. We need LB and CB.

If phillips got picked one before us I think I would die.
But Jenkins is a good pick for us
overall i think it is poor though _________________

i'll admit that mayock has made some decent points, but this mock draft flat out sucks. matt ryan to the dolphins, possible but not likely. chris long playing for the raiders, uh no. glenn dorsey to the patriots is as bad of a joke as why did the chicken cross the road. see troy williamson and brad childress' theory on not taking wrs in the 1st for mario manningham. and darren mcfadden slipping past the falcons, raiders, jets, broncos, bears, lions, cardinals, and texans is just plain silly. |

This isn't Mayock's draft, Bills102 just used his rankings. _________________

yeah it isn't his actual draft it's just the rankings and I edited it for you all so I hope it fits the needs now but if there are any complaints about player position in the draft that's all on Mayock |

I'd rather have Chris Williams than Jeff Otah as I don't see Otah as a very good fit into our blocking scheme. _________________

As a fellow Bills fan id rather see us take Balmer at 11 however mock drafts before the combine are kinda useless so......lets wait and see. |

First point in all this Seattle needs a TE in the first round stuff. For the last 4 or 5 years since Stevens was taken in the first round we haven't had a valid receiving TE who didn't drop the ball on a constant basis. Yet we still won the division every year and got to the Super Bowl one. This is reason that we don't NEED a TE in the WCO. We have the receivers to make it work, which has been shown by our passing game. Of course one would be a nice addition but...
Second point is that Fred Davis is not much better then the next 4 TE's that could be taken in the 3rd or 4th round. IE...John Carlson, Jermichael Finley, Martellus Bennett and Martin Rucker.
Finally between Walter Jones getting old, Alexander being injury prone the last two years and the hole that was left open by the Hutchinson fiasco we have positions that need to be addressed by a quality true first rounder that can fill one of these holes for years to come. Oh yeah and if Trufant leaves that is another position that needs to be addressed.
STOP GIVING THE HAWKS FRED DAVIS!!! |
