I think he is right about MJ as being the wid card...he can go up and get it thats for sure. I also think that he is right that Leftwich should have his best year. He should be great. _________________

Nice article. I like the fact that McNair will be back and the fact that four of our O-Line men will be back this season. I also like the way he hasn't jumped on the bandwagon and call Brown injury prone. If Brown isn't injured he is a top five back, simple as that. _________________

Oh, here we go.... Look.
After week six Chris Brown was top of the rushing yards chart. If he can sustain this for two or three years then he will be a top five back if he doesn't get injured. End of story, so there you go... I'm not being ridiculous. _________________

Come on... you really are being ridiculous. Okay he did well for six weeks, who says he'll keep it up? Hes never proven himself so you have no basis for that statement.. we arent just talking about 6 weeks of football where other guys were injured as well... we are talking EVERY GAME
LT, Jamal Lewis, Priest Holmes, Shaun Alexander, Edge, Corey Dillon, Duece McAlister, Ahman Green, (if we are saying when healthy...) Fred Taylor.. the list goes on and on... better than those guys? I don't think so |

Good post jagz4life.....and even after that there are still some more backs I would say are better than Brown. _________________

LOL Brown is better than Fred Taylor. DOn't even say he isn't. Taylor is injured more than Brpwn and he is six years older.... To say I'm being ridiculous is a bit harsh everyone has their own opinions so there you go. Brown is better than Taylor though.
Also what I am trying to say is - If Brown is healthy and proves for the full 16 weeks he can run consistently then he WILL be in the top five for most rushing yards in the season, end of story. _________________

Like SS said... LT is the best in the game and he finished 7th in rushing... so IT DOESNT MATTER. I agree with you 100% if he is healthy for 16 games than he will be a tremendous back and very well could make it into the top 5... BUT HE HASNT DONE THAT YET!! FRED TAYLOR HAS!! HIS ENTIRE CAREER! Brown has had a career of being a back up and injured so far, so you can in NO WAY say that he has proven himself to be better than Fred Taylor come on now. |

Yes he proved it last season and in my opinion he will prove it again this season. Yes maybe when Taylor was in his prime he was better than the current Brown but when Brown is at his prime he will be better than Taylor when Taylor was in his prime. Let's not forget that Brown is only 23... Taylor is six years older and Brown is faster, they are both injury prone so they cancel each other out and Brown has a better ability to break long runs... _________________
