We won't be signing Law but we will always have an eye out for another CB untill we get a good one that can partner Mathis.

Well... I don't know whats the deal with Bobby Taylor at this point, but I don't know if he'd be the right guy for the job... we may just have to stick with what we have there...

Yeah but he might ask for a decent amount and if we are willing to give up the money to him, why not upgrade a little bit and get a guy like Ty Law for a little more money...

Well because Ty Law isn't coming, I didn't mention him anywhere in my last post so why bring him into a conversation where we were talking about CB's except then him.

But anyway, all I'm saying is that why pay Bobby Taylor the money when by paying a little more we can get a corner who is a lot better than Taylor. If we are going to go out and sign a starting corner, lets not be cheap.. lets go after the best player, so we can win now and have a great defense

Yes well I was talking about how we could get Taylor and then you started saying why get him when we could get Law for just a bit more money, when it looks OBVIOUS that we arn't going to get him.

I don't think you are understanding me...

What I am saying is... WE SHOULD NOT GET ANYBODY BUT LAW RIGHT NOW.. the only other guy would be Bobby Taylor and if we are going to give up Bobby Taylor money, lets not be cheap and get a top 10 corner for a little more money... it wouldn't make sense to sign Taylor

Thats all I'm saying...

I think that even though Law is saying how much money he wants now....if no one signs him in the next couple of weeks, then I could see his asking price come down. Even then I'm not sure but I don't think we would sign him...the article was right about us saving money so we can extend Henderson and Leftwich's contracts. We will just have to wait and see. I also think that the Chiefs are not going to sign him cause they just signed Ambrose....so I coudn't see them going after Law anymore.
