@JayGlazer: Titans have gotten permission to interview Ray Horton for DC job

Saw that coming with the whiz hire. The Browns could go from having two of the better offensive/defensive minds in the game as coordinators to absolutely nothing.

And Cincinatti also loses both coordinators

Gruden to Jackson is at worst a lateral move. Never got the Gruden love personally.

The Dolphins have been announcing the names of candidates who have interviewed for their vacant G.M. position, after the interviews are completed. Eventually, an announcement could be coming with the name George Paton in it. Per a league source, the Vikings assistant G.M. has landed on Miami’s radar screen. It’s believed that he’ll interview for the position.

Paton was considered for the Rams G.M. job a couple of years ago, and his name has emerged in connection with other vacancies. He previously worked in Miami from 2001 through 2006.

When Vikings assistant G.M. George Paton’s name first landed on the Dolphins’ radar screen, it was believed he would speak to Miami about the position but things haven’t worked out that way. A league source tells PFT that Paton has declined an opportunity to interview for the job.

@PhinsDaniel: Eric DeCosta, Tom Gamble, George Paton, Scot McCloughan all rejected interview offers from the Dolphins....make of that what you will.

Just to further back that up.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced they’ve hired George Warhop, who had been with the Browns since 2009, as their new offensive line coach.

and the desertion out of Cleveland continues...

As expected, they are still waiting to hire a head coach.

Whoever is hired will likely bring in their own guys.

I get the feeling that Darrell Bevell could be the last remaining candidate interested in Cleveland.

Bowles and McDaniels already turned Cleveland down and it seems like Gase wants to return to the Broncos to get more seasoning as the OC. I could see Quinn returning to Seattle for the same reason. Bevell would probably be desperate enough to be a head coach to leave Seattle for Cleveland. Bevell has been an OC for so long now, his next step would be as a HC.

If Bevell heads to Cleveland, I cant help but wonder if Brad Childress would join him to be OC. Im sure they could get Tarvaris Jackson to join them in Cleveland as well Laughing

Cleveland might just end up being the place where desperate coaches go. Laughing

That's sad because their fans deserve better. Seattle fans got nothing on the crazies out in Cleveland.

Austria's pre-game marketing of this weekend's games:

a lot more original than what we get here.

Now official: former Chiefs HC Romeo Crennel signed a three-year deal to become defensive coordinator of the Houston Texans.
