If Hoyer is out for a significant amount of time, I believe Freeman to Cleveland is as good as done.

Cleveland coach Rob Chudzinski told NFL Network at halftime that the he's fearful Hoyer may have torn a ligament in his right knee. Hoyer will have an MRI on Friday.

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/23989713/browns-qb-brian-hoyer-suffers-knee-injury-return-questionable

coaches usually downplay an injury or say basically nothing. if they're talking about ligament tears before an MRI, then...

FreeMan FreeBird

If I leave here tomorrow
Would you still remember me?
For I must be traveling on now
'Cause there's too many places I've got to see.

But if I stayed here with you, guys,
Things just couldn't be the same.
'Cause I'm as free as a bird now,
And this bird you can not change, oh, oh, oh, oh.
And this bird you can not change.
And this bird you can not change.
Lord knows I can't change.

No team in NFL history has ever scored even 600 points in a season. The all-time record is 589, by the 16-0 Patriots of 2007. The Denver Broncos scored 51 points in Sunday’s win over the Cowboys to improve their total on the season to 230, putting them on pace to score 736 this season. The Broncos’ 230 points are the most for any team through five games in NFL history. If the Broncos average 33 points a game the rest of the way, they’ll break the Patriots’ record.

Looking ahead to flex scheduling, my guesses

Week 11: Packers/Giants (Replaced by: Chiefs/Broncos, 49ers/Saints)
Week 12: Broncos/Patriots (No change)
Week 13: Giants/Redskins (Replaced by: Broncos/Chiefs?)
Week 14: Falcons/Packers (Replaced by: Seahawks/49ers?)
Week 15: Bengals/Steelers (Replaced by: Chiefs/Raiders, Packers/Cowboys)
Week 16: Patriots/Ravens (No change)

Watching Fox Football Daily, they brought up that Kubiak said after last nights game that Schaub is not allowed to check out of plays at the line. Sounds familiar...

No wonder Houston never considered pursuing Peyton Manning. I have never been a fan of coaches like Kubiak who must be in control and cant let players make decisions.

Hall of Famer Warren Sapp, who will be inducted into the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' ring of honor next month, had some strong criticism for his former team, particularly coach Greg Schiano, during a podcast on NFL.com.

Warren Sapp had some critical comments about coach Greg Schiano and his former team a month before he'll be inducted into the Bucs' ring of honor.

Sapp criticized the way the Bucs handled the situation with quarterback Josh Freeman, who was benched and later released.

"If I'm down in Tampa, I'm questioning this whole thing because it's a mafia style," Sapp said. "I know [Mike] Glennon is not the quarterback that Josh Freeman is. There's no question about it. The film tells me this. Practice tells me this. Even my quarterback demeanor tells me this. If you wouldn't let [Freeman] throw the ball at the end of the game, why is Glennon throwing the ball at the end of the game?''

No return trip to London in 2014 for #Vikings. #Jaguars, #Falcons and #Raiders are 2014 home teams; Vikes don't have road games against any.

That's right...the only one of those 3 they are scheduled to play is Atlanta...and that's at home.

Right now, their home opponents for 2014 are Atlanta, Carolina, New England, NY Jets and NFC East (currently slotted as NY Giants) and their road opponents are Tampa Bay, New Orleans, Buffalo, Miami and NFC West (currently St. Louis).

I wouldn't be surprised to see that it's either Chicago or Detroit (who have road games at Atlanta) to be the ones visiting London next year, as I doubt that they'd send Pittsburgh again, who is one of the Falcons' other home opponents (Cleveland is the other one from the AFC North).

Those are the ones that depend on your finish in the standings, right?

Yep...It seems like the Vikings always play the Giants though....but it has been 2 years since they last played. Prior to that, though, it was something like 7 out of 8 years.

Another couple of nuggets, the Vikings have never beaten Tom Brady...the Vikings haven't beaten the Patriots since 2000. Also, the Vikings haven't beaten the Jets since 1975! It's the worst record they have against any team (1-8 ).

I'm hoping thats not a December game. That would be unfair.
