I am 99% confident that he gets a head coaching job. The Cards made a mistake letting him go. |

I don't see how. He's been a terrible head coach IMO. I think the Steelers made the correct decision in not hiring him. _________________

I dont think he's that bad.
He has had the most success than any cardinals coach in recent history. sure it took having a great QB, but what coach doesnt benefit from that?
of the head coaches fired, I believe that Lovie Smith, Wisenhunt and Andy Reid will find HC jobs elsewhere. |

I think the team actually got worse the longer he was coach. And let's not forget that the QB was brought in by Denny. And Whisenhunt made it to the Super Bowl on the strength of most of Denny's players. _________________

Shouldnt the blame then mostly be put on Rod Graves, the GM that got fired? |

Certainly (and he did get fired for it), but a good coach could have done a better job at managing the players he did have. While none of the QBs that Whisenhunt had were great, he never stuck with one long enough to ever develop any of them. That's his fault. They were both at fault and deservedly got fired for it. _________________

Suspended defensive coordinator Gregg Williams won't return to the St. Louis Rams next season, according to sources. Sources said the Rams also let go of Williams' son, Blake, who served as the Rams' linebackers coach this season.
Williams has not yet been reinstated by the NFL after he was suspended indefinitely for his part in the New Orleans Saints bounty scandal.

The Kansas City Chiefs are on the verge of a deal to make Andy Reid their next head coach, according to league sources. There still are minor details to work out, but after nine hours of meetings Wednesday, one source involved in the talks said "the major issues have been discussed and agreed upon."
One source close to Reid said this morning, "This is going to happen fast."

If that happens, expect that Pioli will be shown the door a short time later. While Pioli has worked with a strong-headed coach before (Belichick), they have far different philosophies, so I can't imagine how that marriage would work. _________________

If that is true, then expect a lineman to go #1, so it could be Bjorn Woerner or Star Lotulelei. I wouldn't expect Reid to take Geno Smith #1 and actually would wait to take a QB in Rd 2, whichever one might be available. _________________

That's a good question. Considering they've only been a 3-4 team for 3 years, they will likely be reverting back to the 4-3, as that's what Reid's teams have always done. But, he certainly could bring in a DC more familiar with the 3-4 if he wishes to keep it that way.
Tamba Hali isn't as bad a fit as a 4-3 DE as Dorsey was a 3-4 DE. Hali did play in the 4-3 prior to their switch, but he didn't make nearly the same impact as he did after. But, they could feasibly get away with moving back to the 4-3, although players like Tyson Jackson and Justin Houston could be hung out to dry considering they are more 3-4 DE and OLB than 4-3 DT and DE. _________________

Justin Houston is big enough to play 4-3 DE, I think he would do just fine there.
