Flowers seems like a good fit for San Diego, they did run a lot of zone last year.

They are certainly challenging the "tall CB" trend which I think is smart. Seahawks CBs didn't win b/c of height, but because of talent and scheme fit.

That said, starting Flowers, Verrett, and Shareece Wright gives them three corners at 5'10" or shorter. Teams will look to exploit that, no doubt.

Since the NFL players and owners came to terms on a new Collective Bargaining Agreement in 2011, rookie holdouts have become almost nonexistent. Rookie contracts don’t have much to be negotiated anymore, which is why 252 of the 256 players drafted this year have already signed. But of the four draft picks who haven’t signed their rookie deals, the highest-drafted says he’s not sure if it’s going to happen any time soon. Browns rookie cornerback Justin Gilbert, the eighth overall pick in this year’s draft, was asked if he will be signed by the start of training camp in late July and answered, “I have no idea, they’re still working on it.”

Lol. The team with Troy Smith, Ochocinco, and Duron Carter is getting handled. Troy Smith still sucks.

Joe Montana knows something about dynasties, having won four Super Bowl rings as the quarterback of the 49ers. He thinks the NFL’s next dynasty may have just begun when the Seahawks won their first Super Bowl in February.

Montana: “I think they have the capability to. When you look at the way the team is put together, they’re young, they’re aggressive; their coach is very aggressive and upbeat. Anytime you can make going to work fun, even though you’re playing as I say ‘a stupid game for a living,’ it makes going to that facility every day really a joy. When you’re having fun at what you’re doing, you’re always a lot better at it.”

I always thought it was fun that in an 8-team league they had "Rough Riders" and "Roughriders." Unfortunately, this Ottawa team didn't keep the name. Laughing

Anyone else still stunned that the Browns basically ignored the WR position in the draft?

I was thinking the same thing. Miles Austin and Nate Burleson? Good luck to whoever ends up being their starting QB.

Part of the reason why pre draft QB rankings will always be flawed and I don't like when analysts are criticized mercilessly. Before draft day, nobody knows where these guys are going to end up and what kind of organization/supporting cast they will be surrounded by.

Had Manziel been drafted near the top of Round 2 by the Jaguars I would be much more optimistic for his future. In Cleveland I think he's going to fail...

Jordan Cameron's fantasy stock just got higher. As if it wasn't already.
