He's certainly talented, but I think he's going to cost way too much and his character is questionable. He has also has a severe case of the Troy Williamsons'.
I've always envisioned him as one of those guys whose sole goal is to cash a big paycheck, and that's it. That's not the character of a guy I think Spielman and Frazier want in this organization.
I see them going more after a guy like Ramses Barden, who will be cheap, offers a lot of potential, despite having an injury history, and being stuck behind Victor Cruz, Hakeem Nicks, and Domenik Hixon (as well as recently being surpassed by Reuben Randle). I think he fills a need for a big guy in the red zone, and then they will pick up another WR in the draft. _________________

In a move that will surprise no one, Tim Tebow will ask to be traded or released by the Jets if Greg McElroy starts the last two games of the season, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The Kansas City Chiefs have not had a good season and major change figures to come almost immediately after they close out the season next Sunday.
All of that struggle doesn’t mean they can’t set a record, although the record they set in Sunday’s 20-13 loss to the Colts really just serves to underscore how wrong things have gone in K.C. this season. The Chiefs ran for 352 yards in the loss, giving them the NFL record for most rushing yards in a loss. The previous record was held by the 1944 Cleveland Rams, who ran for 320 yards in a loss to Washington.

In a Sunday report, CBSSports.com NFL insider Jason La Confora writes that, according to league sources, “the Philadelphia Eagles will consider Chip Kelly to replace Andy Reid.” Additionally, as La Confora tells it, “multiple executives with rival teams anticipate Philadelphia making a heavy push to land the Oregon head coach.”

I can't see Kelly leaving Oregon right now. I think he is a much better fit as a college coach, and with how good that team is right now he's in a good spot. _________________

I actually think he's pretty likely to leave, especially with Oregon potentially facing sanctions. |

Wasn't sure where to put this:
The Minnesota Vikings filled out their practice squad on Wednesday morning, signing former University of Miami tight end Chase Ford.
He fills the spot vacated when the Vikings promoted end George Johnson to the 53-man roster on Saturday.
Ford (6-foot-6, 245 pounds) had only 16 catches in his two seasons with the Hurricanes and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.75 seconds at his campus workout in March. He wasn't drafted and most recently had a stint on the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad.
The Vikings probably wanted to give the spot to tight end Allen Reisner, who was claimed off waivers by Jacksonville after they cut him on Saturday.

Oh yeah, forgot about the potential sanctions, I probably should just assume that every major school is going to be facing them. _________________
