Xavier Lee's stint at FSU is over. The former High School standout was asked to move to Tight End for next season. Looks like he will declare for the Draft and try to impress scouts at the combine. May not be a QB at the next level, but he certainly has talent.

Eh.

Lee has a world of potential and maybe he can try and convert to WR. Nevertheless he won't be drafted.

i never knew he was big enough to play tight end. he wont get drafted unless he converts to WR or TE and has a freak combine

He never got a legit chance at FSU......He had to play behind Wyatt Sexton/Drew Weatherford/E.J. Manuel(Next years Starter)

He should have went to OSU. His loss.

Well, would be a QB3 project/5th string WR/ST player (Much like Marcus Vick).

I see him getting drafted in the 6th round by the Dolphins.

If only he never injured his shoulder during his freshman year than who knows where he would be at this time of his career.

Desperate times call for desperate measures Very Happy

Don't think Lee will get drafted, but he'll try out in some camp, although he doesn't deserve to. The man has loads of potential, so if a miracle coach can put the pieces together, you never know what he might become.

Xavier Lee just isn't a good passer and doesn't make smart decisions

I'm not trying to start anything, but Xavier Lee is basically a waste of space on this site, he has nothing to offer a NFL team, and to live off of your highschool potential is laughable. He was a waste at FSU and couldn't beat out looser Drew Weatheford, Lee was a huge dissapointmnet was an utter bust as a recruit. Just shows how much he's worth to FSU moving him to TE. Blah, this was a pointless thread, and didn't deserve even this much of my time, yours niether.

He's a great talent with amazing scrambling ability and a great arm. Makes numerous poor plays, but has flashed some ability. One thing that may really hurt his stock is the reason he left. Jimbo Fisher was thinking about converting him to tight end and he didn't want anything to do with it. If he's not willing to switch positions in the NFL, he won't last long and he'll be out on the streets...without a college degree.

He could make a decent Tight End with good coaching.

bonehead decision from him. if he really wants to play QB that much he shouldve just transferred to another school where he could be their QB. even if he went to a smaller school, like Joe Flacco, see how far hes shooting up draft boards

Salaami, I respect your draft work but some people on this thread is right. X. Lee came to FSU as highly touted HS QB recruit. Contrary to what someone wrote, he DID get a chance to play but every opportunity he did not do anything to distinguish himself. He's just not good, period. Michael Bishop had a better arm than Tom Brady when they were both Patriots. But you know what? He had marbles upstairs and that is why he's been out of the NFL. This is a worthless thread but it just got under my skin but FSU is right to ask the dude to change positions. I mean, they want something out of the scholarship (and I'm sure booster money) they gave him Smile
