the Madden cover this year will be decided by fan voting, and Adrian Peterson is in the top-8. The other 3 "new school" players are Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson and Arian Foster. Representing the "old school" side of the bracket are Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Jerry Rice and Deion Sanders.
I'm guessing the final comes down to AP vs. Jerry Rice. _________________

I'd like to see Barry Sanders get it, but considering we just had a Detroit Lion on the last cover, he probably won't get in.
and so,I'm rooting for Deion Sanders to get it. You don't see too many defensive players win it. _________________

I'd like to see a Deion / AP finale. I'm not sure who I would vote for if that were to happen _________________

Calvin Johnson proved the Madden curse was nothing but coincidence, I'm not afraid of voting for Adrian.
But as another poster said, if it comes down to Peterson and Primetime, I might have a tough decision to make! |

Please, god, no.
I'll wait for the grounded, none video game playing, old schooler to come along and try and dispell the Madden curse. It's as real as rain. I don't AP anywhere near it.
To clarify, it doesn't mean AP will get hurt, or himself have a bad season. It means that either him, or his team, will face major set backs that spoil the season. I have seen it happen every single year. _________________ Welcome to Minnesota, Greg Jennings.

It's not just about the said player, the Lions, failed to reach or smell the playoffs after the success they found the prior year. It's real. _________________ Welcome to Minnesota, Greg Jennings.

What's the worst thing that would happen?
If he gets injured, he comes back stronger...

Madden curse is hogwash and pure coincidence. I have no problem with voting for Adrian. _________________

Not sure why anyone cares, actually. I'm curious, why do people care? Not ripping anyone, just curious. _________________ Wins are a team stat, not a QB stat |
