During an interview on WNST in Baltimore, Bryant McKinnie said that he didnít expect to have any more talks about a contract with the Ravens until after the draft. While the implication is that the Ravens might add a player they want to take over the starting job, McKinnie also said that he wants to see what the Ravens do so that he knows he has a shot to retain his starting job.

McKinnie: ďI definitely want a starting job. I want it to be fair for somebody to beat me out of my position instead of saying you want to try something new. Give me the opportunity to actually be fair and let somebody beat me out for the position.Ē

McKinnie will probably sign with someone after the draft, someone is bound to miss out on a LT. Not sure Id even want him at that position at this point.

This ties in with the upcoming draft, and this thread...

He'll be in San Diego.

San Diego reached out Wednesday to the representation of Bryant McKinnie, the latest of a "couple general discussions" between the two sides, a source said. No deal is imminent. No visit to San Diego is planned.

How ironic that I hadn't even read the article prior to making my last post. I just thought that San Diego makes too much sense for him not to be there.

A return to Baltimore is certainly plausible. I could also see him going to Miami since they lost Jake Long.

There is no market for McKinnie right now, teams may start feeling him out a bit, but ultimately, no move will occur until after the draft. McKinnie's value will go up as teams who missed out on a starting OT will probably be a bit more desperate. I am not sure McKinnie can even be relied on as a starer anymore.

Linebacker Kenny Onatolu appeared in just four games for the Carolina Panthers in 2012. Itís the only games heíll play for the franchise as the team released him on Tuesday.

After playing the first three years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings, Onatolu signed with the Panthers last offseason. He played in just four games before suffering a torn triceps and landing on injured reserve. The special teams stalwart and reserve linebacker recorded just five tackles and a safety for the Panthers before his season came to an end.

I think I'd take him back over Larry Dean.

The San Diego Chargers has its sights set on Bryant McKinnie, a 12th-year veteran scheduled to visit the team Tuesday, a league source said Monday night. San Diego first expressed interest in McKinnie before the draft, interest that was solidified with the developments of last week's first round.

Devin Aromashodu is the last of our unsigned guys. Any whispers of him landing somewhere.

Really glad to not have my number disgraced more.

A slow offseason seems to be picking up steam for Bryant McKinnie. According to the Baltimore Sun, the Ravens free agent left tackle has offers from the Chargers and Dolphins already, and the Cowboys have made an inquiry as well.
