So, where are the text messages from Walsh, that corroborate Kluwe's accusations?

recorded on Kluwe's phone, according to him.

Yes, I understand that.

Why hasn't he released them (i.e. published) to support his claim? Legal counsel advised against? Judge prohibited such? The names of the witnesses are now known. But the text messages are not known to anyone but Kluwe.

As I said, I assume this 'concealment' is a legal procedural issue. I am curious as to the exact wording and context (pardon the pun) of the messages. If/ when those are revealed, we can better judge the accuracy of Kluwe's claim.

^ the investigators for the Vikings said yesterday a public report will be issued at their conclusion, so presumably we would see the texts at that time.

He also revealed himself as nothing more than a wannabe reporter just prior to getting off of twitter/being banned.

On this day in Vikings history the NFL at the owners meeting approved the expansion team team that has now become our Minnesota Vikings...

Oh, c'mon now! You can do better than that. What were the names of the five men behind the proposal to expand the NFL into Minneapolis, MN?

Who eventually was named head coach? What did that HC do in the year prior to becoming the Vikings first HC?

Who was the first QB to start the first game, who were the opponents and what was the outcome?

And, what did they serve for lunch at the owners meeting you mentioned?
Hint: it wasn't lutefisk.

Cowboys announced the hiring of Scott Linehan as the team's passing game coordinator.

I can recall a few names I read about, include Max Winter (hence, Winter Park) and Ole Haugsrud...was Wheelock Whitney part of it then? I'm pretty sure Sid was involved somehow too, since journalists had a lot more power then (didn't he even sit in the front office of the Minneapolis Lakers at point?)

I'm pretty sure Fran didn't start initially...and they beat the Bears in their first game with Norm Van Brocklin as head coach. Wink

Fran did start. They beat the Bears 37-13. Assuming the original question was referring to the first "regular season" game. Technically the first game was a 38-13 loss to the Cowboys in pre-season.

Van Brocklin was QB of the Eagles before becoming the first HC.

The original group was Max Winter, Skoglund, Haugsrud, Boyer and Ridder.

Lasagna?

And the first player drafted by the Vikings was Tommy Mason (RB).

Fran did start. They beat the Bears 37-13.

The Vikings won their first regular season game, defeating the Chicago Bears 37–13 on Opening Day 1961; Tarkenton came off the bench to throw four touchdown passes and run for another to lead the upset.

What will they come up with next? Gatorade Bucket Coordinator? Challenge Flag Coordinator? Kick Holder Coordinator?
