With Davone Bess declaring today he got a second round rating when he applied (he also signed with an agent so its official he cant back out)...what are your opinions on when he goes and who do you think he would fit with?

This either means June Jones told him that he is leaving the school or we will pull back like Brennan did last season. Bess has been a great college WR, but I don't think he is a 2nd round prospect yet in the pros, I'd see him as a 2nd day pick right now. _________________ R.I.P. Sean Taylor |

i think u meant he will pull back like brennan but he signed with an agent so its official...i mean i can see him as an early 3rd but because of the new order that is a second day pick so u could be rite _________________

My bad.
He must be serious, although I think his past character issues and size could hurt his stock a little, I wouldn't be shocked if he were a 3rd round pick, he is a solid WR. _________________ R.I.P. Sean Taylor |

He's a monster after the catch. That's for sure. And those saying his size will hurt him are mistaken. He's 5'10" and 190. Sounds a lot like Steve Smith.
He'll be a second round pick. His productivity, regardless of system, and after the catch ability will make him a first day selection. _________________

Oh well, he could've been "the best receiver in the history of college football" if you ask the Sugar Bowl commentators. _________________

| He is a great WR, great hands YAC monster as BigBen said and runs good routes. Not much of a red zone threat but he is going to be a beast in the NFL. |

He should be a great slot receiver he's a threat to score anytime after the catch. _________________

Hope you don't mind I added a link to your original post. Gives the thread more credibility and allows people to read a little into it. _________________

I heard them say that too but then stopped paying attention. What were they talking about? _________________

They meant statistically...He had 293 catches, 3,610 yards, and 41 touchdowns in 3 years..pretty sure that ranks up there all-time. _________________

I heard that too and then they didn't elibrate on it
I think he'll be a great NFL prospect ... I'm interested in what his 40 is going to be a the combine ... that'll make him either a late 1st day or early 2nd day. _________________
