Hi all, my names Rob. I'm 21 and from England. I have been playing and following football for the past 5 years and have been a committed Cards fan since Kurt took us to the dance. That was my first experience of American football and I loved the underdog, shock the world attitude.

Seems like we are finally ready to make another run!!!

Welcome to the forum SoggyBilling.

This Cardinals forum is surprisingly international. We have Cardinal fans all over the US and the world, which is pretty cool for a team with a small fan base by NFL standards.

Welcome man. Great to see some more cards fans on here especially international dudes Surprised

Is there pretty much no structure for what nfl teams areas of England root for? Kinda like everyone just picks a team?

Cheers guys. The fanbase is really diverse as we generally get to choose our team based on all sorts of random factors. The bigger market teams like the ravens, patriots and dolphins get a lot of support but I know people who follow each team. Thats part of the reason why I'm not sure a London based franchise would work.

I'm the only Arizona fan I know and its been a rough ride these past couple of years.

We get a lot of the Patriots forced down our throats. Someone clearly thought they were being clever with the whole new england connection Confused but I can't stand their brand of football.

Big cricket fan, its the sport I grew up with and played at a pretty high level until I switched to contact sports.

Not a great time to be an English cricket fan Sad

I've been poking around this site for years now and its always been my first point of call for cards info, just never got round to joining until now. [/quote]

The Aussie players and management have crossed a line this series, lost a lot of respect for them.

Ashes 2005 is the perfect example of two great teams playing hard, fair and with respect. What all sport should be about.

It is getting childish.

I was at the second day and could hear it from our seats.

Wow thats cool, something Ive always wanted to do. Are you from Brisbane then DJ_Fka?

There was always going to be trouble playing the two series this close together with all that bad feeling still lingering.

Nothing better than a day of cricket and 'few' beers Very Happy

I'm spending Christmas in Brisbane and New years in Sydney this year visiting my girlfriend. First time I've been to Oz. Is there anything you would recommend doing?

All the usual touristy things really.

Brisbane, you have the Gold and Sunshine Coast nearby, worth a look, Australia Zoo (Steve Irwin), all the theme parks on the Gold Coast too.

Sydney is good, Harbour bridge and Bondi etc
