Good choice. He needs to show the NFL what kind of player he is. Is he a Chris Cooley type, just a standard tight end, etc.?

He moves around alot, and I he could probably stand to add some weight.

Absolutely, he needs to add about 30 pounds so he can get up to 245 or 250 pounds. Right now he's about 220 or maybe 225. Thats just not big enough for the league. Plus he also needs to show that he can do the dirty work. As of now all he's been is a pass threat. NFL teams will want to see if he has the desire and strength to block in the NFL. So returning is the best thing for him. Plus he's still raw with the position, remember he came into Badger land as a highly touted OLB and then made the switch to TE. So another year to perfect his craft can only help. But his biggest need and NFL scouts' biggest concern is size, he must get bigger or he'll be a novelty. A hybrid WR/TE, only with TE speed. There really isn't a need for that, so he must bulk up and learn the nuances of the TE position.

With all that said, in 2009 he can be a legit 2nd round TE. And with an uber-productive year he can be a borderline 1rst rounder. His athleticism is through the roof, he has some serious talent in that regard. But his senior year will be highly watched by everyone in the NFL who is looking for a playmaking TE.
