I hate to sound like I'm gushing, but Edwards win for me. He went out, managed the game like a vet, and made plays when he was asked to. The pass to get into FG range was awesome. Could've had a touchdown too, but Evans didn't hold on.
EDIT- In the future, include player stats and previous week's winners down like Jb does. It makes voting a whole lot easier. _________________ Trent Edwards: 39/55, 454 yards, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Marcus Stroud: 7 tackles, 2.0 sacks, 4 pass def. |

man its tough for me between Freddy and Trent. I mean Lindell put up almost all the points and Tripplett had the game turning turnover....so many people deserve it. But I got to give it to Freddy, without him Trent would of been looking at 5 DB's the whole game. _________________

Triplett - He was responsible for two turnovers. They were key because we could not stop washington on third down. He would have had a sack on that fumble but Campbell was ahead of the line of scrimmage. He help to hold Portis to 50 yrds. _________________ "Dear Bills, it's not too late to circle the wagons" - Chris Berman |

I gotta go with Lindell. He was the only point scorer(beside Crowell) for us. Plus he drilled the game winner. _________________

A very strong case can be made for any of those players. I honestly think this week is the toughest week to pick a player. I'm going to vote for Fred Jackson. He rushed for over 5.1 yards a carry and totaled 151 yards. I would be happy with any of those guys being named player of the week though. Trent Edwards was very decisive and looked extremely promising for Buffalo's future. Rian Lindell made 6 field goals (5 official), scoring almost all of Buffalo's points and tying the team record for most consecutive field goals made. Angelo Crowell's safety gives Buffalo 2 on the year... the entire league has 10 safeties. Larry Tripplett also played very well as he forced a fumble and made a great pick. _________________
