Well it is like so many years in recent history, when we as Dolphins Fans look forward to the draft, because we have not seen the Playoffs since 2008.

Lets hear some names who we want to see called out in April 2016.

I think we will be picking between 7 and 14 depending on how the last couple weeks go.

Im gonna give this a day or two and then put my thoughts down. But i will say this, OL LB or DB (IMO)

Bosa or Ramsey.

Both are looking very unlikely, as of now, unless we want to trade a 2nd rounder.

Bosa
Ramsey
J. Smith

Here's my realistic but lucky scenario:

I think I'd like to trade back 10 spot for an additional 2nd rounder.

1) V. Alexander - OL
2a) M. Alexander - NB
2b) D. King - CB (I think he'll be a 1st rounder by draft time)
3. M. Killebrew - S

It's looking like a good year for drafting our positions of need. I see the first round having 4 or 5 CBs and 4-5 OTs being selected. I also foresee 3-4 LBs and 4 DEs.

I don't see any OGs going before pick 25 and I wouldn't be surprised if we see any interior Olinemen in the first round in 2016, but there should be a run of OGs in round 2....... I can see 3 OGs going in the second.

Ideally I would like to see us select a CB in round 1 and an OG in round 2.

It looks like a really deep class of DEs and I would like to see us grab one in the second or third rounds. At 6'7" and 270 lbs I'm very interested in Carl Nassib's combine and pro day. He could be a great value in the third round with great measurables, although he needs to develop his technique.

If we lose out from here then we could still be in the running for Bosa or possibly Paxton Lynch (I'm not saying I WOULD draft him, just saying we need to do our due diligence on any potential franchise QB). If we're out of their range I would target Jaylon Smith. Otherwise I'd trade down - we need picks.

I can't give names, but any of:

CB
DE
MLB
OLB
FS

in no particular order. Plenty of needs on this team.

Armando seems to think next year's starting OL will be the same: Albert - Thomas - Pouncey - Turner - James

no way we resign that guy, he's like a "2 coaches ago's" mistake and a prior GM

I'll get behind Vadal Alexander. We need help on the OL badly. There's a few guys I like more, but I doubt we'd be in a position to draft them without moving up... and honestly, we need all the picks we can get atm. We could also end up getting him after trading down, so that is a plus.

I also like Jaylon Smith.

Dallas Thomas? They wouldn't need to, he's under contract through 2016.

Our entire O-line with the exception of Pouncey and James needs to be rebuilt. I wouldn't be mad at all if we wound up with a LT in the first, OG in the second, and OG in the 4th.

Jamil Douglas has shown enough to warrant another year, but Dallas Thomas has to go. And I fear that the constant injuries has doomed Branden Albert to the scrap heap.

Currently I have our needs as:

1. CB
2. MLB
3. Pass Rusher
4. Coverage Safety
5. Guard
6. OT
7. TE
8. QB

With not much research, I would have them as:

1. Joey Bosa, DE
2. Vernon Hargreaves III, CB
3. Jaylon Smith, SLB/MLB
4. Jalen Ramsey, FS
5. Laremy Tunsil, OT
6. Reggie Ragland, ILB
7. Myles Jack, WLB
8. Robert Nkemdiche, DT
9. Mackensie Alexander, CB
10. Ronnie Stanley, OT

Some later guys I like in no particular order (Love LSU players this year):

Joshua Garnett, OG (Love him, but he'll probably end up in the first round)
Cam Sutton, CB
Jayron Kearse, S
Jaylen Mills, S
Vadal Alexander, OG
Kendall Beckwhith, ILB
Shon Coleman, OT
Deion Jones, OLB
Tyler Makatevich, OLB
Nick Martin, OT/OG
Cody Whitehair OT/OG
O.J. Howard, TE

Something like the picks below would go a long way to revamp our horrible defense.
1. VHII
2. Kendall Beckwith
3. Deion Jones

You've just about hit it, but my order is different.

1. CB
2. OG
3. Pass Rusher
4. MLB
5. free safety
6. OT
7. TE
8. QB

Given that, it shouldn't be difficult for a REAL HC to find one OG upgrade in FA and there are FA QBs to be had for less money than Moore and good enough to be 'competition.' The only reason I include TE is because of Cameron's contract. As for draft, I'm not in favor of an OG in the 1st.
I hope someone here can provide info on which positions will be 'loaded' in the '16 draft and which will have limited choices.

Pre combine I think this class is heavy with OT and CB talent........and very strong in the LB group.
