This guy can hit just like Rodney Harrison and Shazor could play LB and S and CB.

I would love to see him on the pats, what do you think about him?

If he falls to us, I'd jump all over him. but I'd either trade up for him or wait till the 3rd round.

I really like him too. we could use an heir apparent to Harrison. And with Gus Scott and Dexter Reid maybe Wilson could move back to corner.

He definitely couldnt play corner.

I lke Shazor, but I dont want to take a 2nd round SS. Rodney Harrison is still playing at a high level. If we want a guy to groom under him, draft a guy lower. We couldnt play both at the same time either, cuz we'd get killed deep. Id rather look at a guy later like an Aaron francisco of BYU or a Junior Rosegreen. Who knows, maybe Guss Scott is the heir apparent. BB has done well with DB's lately, and Scott never got a chance to show his stuff.

yeah, shazor is definatly not a CB. i think he may make the switch to LB like cato june did for the colts, the guy is a physical freak, like 6 ft 4 230, but he cant cover very well, he got burned against ohio state. it would be a good pick tho to maybe convert into a LB

Shazor would be a great addition, but we would have to play him on special teams and sparingly until one of the greatest strong safties ever retires. Not something that is gonna happen soon

Yea Ernest is the man, id love to see him come to the pats next year! Buuuut, i think our needs are in other areas. Like someone stated We now have 3 Very young Safties that can get the job done when rodney retires. I think the 31st or 32nd pick is a perfect time to scoop up the best guard left. David Baas will likely be there, and maybe even Elton Brown depending on how things in the first round shake up. But depending on what happens with Ty Law and Poole we maybe need a good Corner. And the perfect fit is.........Corey Webster of LSU. The obvious Saban Connect is often enough to take a guy coming out of LSU. See Marquse Hill Last year. He was our second pick and he hardly saw the field ( but i think he was banged up a bit)

yeah, i think that cb is a bigger need for the pats than shazor, who will most likely be turned into a lb by the end of his career

PS, In a poll with all the players in the league, Roy ranked the hardest hitter second to Dawkins, and only been in the league a couple years!
