Eagles Salary Cap Room (According to Over the Cap.com): $18.4 Million

Restructure:

RB LeSean McCoy (Saves $1.4M)

McCoy does not want to give up any money and the Philadelphia Eagles want to keep him happy while clearing a little more cap room. Though not drastic, dispersing his base salary equally over the next two seasons does clear out some room ($11.95M to $10.5M in 2015), while not affecting McCoy’s salary over the duration of his contract.

Total Cap Room: $19.8 M

Trades

Philadelphia Eagles trade conditional 4th round pick to Baltimore Ravens for LB Arthur Brown.

The Eagles add much needed depth and youth to their inside LB core, while only giving up a 4th round pick if he starts more than half their games. The Baltimore Ravens clear a roster spot who spent most 2014 as a healthy scratch game-day and logjammed behind starters C.J. Mosley and Daryl Smith.

Total Cap Room: $18.8M

Cuts

LB/DE Trent Cole (Saves $8.4M)
CB Cary Williams (Saves $6.5M)
LB DeMaco Ryans (Saves $6.9M)
TE James Casey (Saves $4M)
OL Allen Barbre (Saves $1M)

Total Cap Room: $45.6M

Not Resigned

CB Bradley Fletcher
LB/DE Brandon Graham
QB Mark Sanchez
WR Brad Smith
LB Casey Matthews
WR Jeff Maehl
WR Jamel Hamler

Resigned

WR Jeremy Maclin: 5 years $43M (Cap Hit- $7.5M)
DL Cedric Thornton (RFA): 3 years $9M (Cap Hit- $3M)
S Nate Allen: 3 years $9M (Cap Hit- $3M)
RB Chris Polk: 2 years $3M (Cap Hit- $1.5M)

Total Cap Room: $30.6M

Free Agent Signings

CB Kareem Jackson 4 years $22M (Cap Hit- $5.5M)
OG Clint Boling 3 years $17M (Cap Hit- $5M)
OLB Brooks Reed 3 years $14M (Cap Hit- $4M)
QB Jake Locker 1 year $2M (Cap Hit- $2M)

Think your draft rankings are kind of liberal.

Think Collins, Hackett and Grasu go earlier than that.

Also what is the point of keeping herremans if he doesn't start? Maybe cut Herremans and keep Barbre.

Also don't want Nate Allen back at all, would rather target a FA veteran that actually had worked with Undling before like Adams or Moore.

Some of the numbers are way off. Maclin and Jackson are going to demand WAY more than that. I think Jackson is looking somewhere around 9-10 million a year. Clint Boling is the best Guard in the market and he is also gonna get more money then that.
