that depends on what you measure "better" by... I mean if the Colts get further than last season (AFC championship or Superbowl) is that a better season regardless of the #s Peyton has, or are we talking specifically stats?

I really believe the Colts make the divisional playoffs again, but from there its a little less clear.

Does Peyton have similar stats? Definitely, they havent improved the defense enough that he wont have to score at least 27 points to win games.

You also have to figure since they've kept mostly the same offense there is little reason to assume that they wont be around that same level.

~40 TD passes is quite likely.

I dont know when you throw that many touchdowns its hard to top it but he said that he made 16 or 17 bad throws that would of been touchdowns so i dont know well just have to wait tell the season kicks off to find out.

I have a feeling that he could have a better season, if they decide to not run the ball ever and just dominate with his passing game.

He still has all the weapons, so it's definately possible. However, that could be known as one of the best seasons for a QB ever, so obviously, that is tough to replicate, let alone improve upon.

IMO the only way Peyton can top last year is to get this team to Detroit in February.

Even if he does not come close to the number of TD passes he had last year, a trip to the Super Bowl is the only way.
