Colts QB Peyton Manning, offensive coordinator Tom Moore and QB coach Jim Caldwell have reviewed much of the game tape from the 2004 season. The verdict? Manning failed to convert on a lot of TD opportunities. Manning claims the sessions turned up “17 legitimate misses,” which seems absurd considering he had 49 TD passes in ’04.
I am really tired of Peyton holding us back arent you?

| Actually the thing that ticked me off was him holding back SO much those last handful of games. He could've conceivably racked up SIXTY TDs and put that record away forever. |

| And if he wins a SB or two, then he might be the best EVER. I mean Marino is known as one of the best ever and he never won one. If Peyton wins one or maybe two. He will be without a doubt the best QB ever |

dont get me wrong when i say this, becuase i love peyton andt hink hes a great player, but the thing that made me mad last year was how few times they used edge when they were in the red zone...when you have an elite back like that, theyve just gotta get used! _________________

Considering his lousy record in the red zone including many fumbles at key times and the fact he begged off being in the red zone offense for the record breaking pass in favor of Mungro, AND the way he blows off the offseason and preseason team events, mandatory and optional, on a regular basis . . . I have no problem with them snubbing Edge in TD situations. Peyton reads the D and makes his calls based on what they give him. That part doesnt change when they reach the red zone. So to pin that on Peyton is unfair IMO. |

| Dude, it's not as easy as it looks all the time. You can't convert every time you think there was a touchdown opportunity! It's just not possible. Give him a break. He's not holding them back, he's helping them. He's awesome! |
