Crowder is one of the most aggressive college linebackers I have ever seen. The dolphins could use a young linebacker to learn from Thomas and Seau (If he is still around), that has great potential. But, he does have a criminal record, which may put him further back in the draft.
As for Fason, well....I don't think he should be considered for the 1st round. Not near the talent of Cedric Benson, Ronnie Brown, or Cadillac Williams. |

if the hawks franchised him miami would not take him. but they won't franchise him because then they would lose walter jones and they can't afford alexander anyway _________________ "well, they got X player I wanted but they clearly overpaid" is the battle cry of bitter and ignorant football fans

| well the seahawks are looking for some FO folks, and espn analysis Mueller, who lives in WA, has been talked about being hired, and when his name first came up, he answered a question to one of his viewers who asked if seattle would try and tag and trade alexander...he mentioned miamis cap problems with the fact they need some offense, and the fact that theres a chance that miami would trade zach thomas...later he mentioned that an easy swap would be zach to seattle (who needs a backer) for shaun...and miami gets that proven rb...wont happen, but was still interesting to read since mueller could be in the hawks FO by next week... |

| Seattle wouldnt trade Alexander for Thomas. A 30+ LB for an elite RB |

| Miami is 17 million over the cap, so how the hell are you going to sign alexander? You have to cut Boston, Seau, Fiedler to get back to zero, thats not including the signing of draft picks either. Good Luck! |

I've read that Travis Henry could very well be a Dolphin in the offseason?
I think that the Seahawks will franchise Shaun Alexander and trade his arse elsewhere if not to Miami. _________________ SIRJIN

Here's the deal. Saban wants to rebuild our offense, which is fine with me, and keep Feeley (or at least give him another shot), which is also fine with me. But we have problems. We're over the cap, so its going to take cuts like Seau, Fiedler, Boston, etc.... to get just a little under, and restructure some contracts to free up even more $. But we can't take on too much more money or we'll be in the same situation as before. Thats why, as much as I would love to get a guy like Edge, Alexander, or Henry, we simply can't. We need to draft a RB like Benson, Williams, or Brown. I do, however, think we can spend something on getting a guy like Walter Jones or Casey Coleman to solidify the line.
Heres what we may be looking at on offense:
QB: Feeley, Sage, Draft Pick
RB: Draft Pick, Morris, Henry
FB: FA (I don't think Konrad will stay)
WR: Chambers, Booker, Gilmore, FA/Draft Pick
Tackles: Coleman/Jones, St. Clair, Smith, MacIntosh
Guards: James, Carey, Hadnot, Jerman
Center: McKinney
Tight End: McMichael, Lee, Jones
An upgrade at O-Line and RB over last year. |

| If the Dolphins cannot lose Rob Konrad. He is one of the best blockers on their offense right now and if used correctly with a running back, could be one of the best fullbacks in the league. I think that the dolphins must resign McMichael and Konrad. Why wouldn't he be back?? |

I'm not making this up....
| Quote: | | "We hear Dolphins coach Nick Saban already has sent word to Ricky Williams that he is interested in talking if Williams wishes. But Williams still doesn't want to play, friends say. • New Dolphins offensive coordinator Scott Linehan ran primarily a one-back offense in Minnesota, with either two tight ends or three receivers. That puts fullback Rob Konrad -- due $1 million next season -- in jeopardy." |
