Not a major shock, but a little suprising. Looks like Jacoby Jones made an impression. _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play. To value precisely the activity of one of them, it is first necessary to account for the actions of the other 21" |

I wonder where he will end up then. Maybe Atlanta might want another vet at receiver? OR maybe Jax might want him back |

I wouldnt doubt teams like Atlanta or Tennessee but it just doesnt seem too likely.
I think heill just retire. I mean 17 season in the NFL? I think the next time you will possibly see McCardell is if a team has a mid season injury or an unexpected team makes a late season surge and picks him up for the playoffs. _________________

I would cut Keenan McCardell too, if I see what Jacoby Jones has to offer. The Kid is amazing, and should see alot of playing time.
I really dont know who will pick up McCardell.. _________________

That was a watse, of signing him, then just releasing him. I wonder if he will be picked up by a team. _________________

Part of me wouldnt mind seeing him in MN, but the other part really wants to see what some of the young Vikings WRs can do. Williamson, Sidney Rice, Bobby Wade, Martin Nance, etc.... _________________

i think he may be done. He didnt really showcase much to warrant another look from other teams. I understand his track record speaks but over time you could just tell he wasnt the same receiver. _________________

I know he said he wanted to play until he reached 1,000 catches so I don't know if he's going to want to retire.
Right now he stands at 861 receptions so that's 139 away from 1,000.
At this stage in his career though that could possibly take up to 4 or 5 seasons to reach and its very unlikely he plays that much longer.
He SHOULD retire but I don't think that's what he's planning. _________________

I like him but I just can't see him playing any longer he didn't do much in '06 and I doubt he has anything left in the tank. Retire Keenan you had a good career, you have a super bowl ring, sit back and enjoy yourself. _________________
