Ozzie loved Leftwich and desperately wanted him. Wonder if he tries to make a move since Boller is gone after this year. Doubtful since 3rd and 5th rounders are already gone, but if he still lives Leftwich he might. _________________

Would be cool if the Ravens got him. Still I love Byron Leftwich. _________________

Sorry for the double-post, but I just have to say that wherever Byron goes I hope he gets the respect of the fans he deserves unlike how he was treated here in Jacksonville. _________________

I AM IN SHOCK!!!
Why make this decision now? Just last week they called again Leftwich the starter and now this?
I don't support this decision, but I will still support the team no matter who is playing behind center. _________________

The Jags couldn't win the division with Leftwich either. He's not that good of a QB. Del Rio was pretty much in a no-win situation. The best option is to cut ties with Leftwich now because he was never going to amount to anything, see if Garrard can handle the job, and if not, get yourself a Brohm, Brennan, Woodard, or Henne next draft. _________________

We saw that he couldn't last year.

I sincerely hope the report id fale, but if it's not, I pray they didn't make the decision based on a couple preseason games where Garrard beat up on some second stringers.
If this is indeed true, I say again I lose all my respect for JDR and the FO. Garrard proved last season he was not capable of being a starter. |
Del Rio said in the live press conferance, that Garrard was playing very well and that the reason they cut ties was more becuase Garrard took a step forward rhater then Leftwich take a step backwards. _________________

May god have mercy on whatever poor soul drafts Chad Henne and puts their faith in him as a future starter. _________________

It is a bit of good news for Titans fans in a way, but you still have to play our defense.
My faith is in you now Garrard...you better not screw it up again. _________________

I agree, but he'll still be in the discussion. I avoid all Michigan QBs (unless they're Tom Brady) like the plague. _________________
