He was named in an FBI Report
The report says that investigators are reviewing the quarterback's playing time in which the final scores and betting patterns raised suspicion. The report also stated that there is no indication Gradkowski is a target of the investigation or that he might be charged.
Gradkowski was Toledo's starting quarterback from 2003-05, but he had been hampered by injuries at various points during those seasons. _________________ Hawkeyes: 5-5; Raiders 2-6

I didn't know people actually betted on Toledo games. I don't know if much will happen with this case though. It is hard to prove point shaving especially if no one admits to it. _________________

Actually, I used to bet a lot on MAC games. I live in right smack in the middle of University of Akron and Kent State (only like 10 miles apart). The top tier teams in the MAC would seem to cover against the Big 10 and Big 12. When they went SEC though, all bets were off. They couldn't hang with that speed. It wasn't anything high stakes just some online 3-4 team parlay stuff.
This would indicate though that these were MAC v. MAC games during his injury spells. I hope he wasn't involved. They said some Toledo players were suspected of involvement. They already dropped the charges against his former teammate and RB at that time. |

Hey, my mom used to live there!
Wow, this is... weird. Why the heck would a QB do this in a small/medium college? _________________ Reggie Wayne for HOF

I know this may be a dumb question but what does shaving points mean. I know it has to do something with betting on games and what not. I'm not a big better and niether is anybody in my family so someone please fill me in. _________________ Adopt-a-Ram: Brian Quick - 11 receptions, 156 yards, 2 TDs |

But like I said the evidence is so stupid. _________________

Dam that is not good at all, but the Bucs sucked last year so it doesn't matter. _________________

A change in betting patterns? How many people bet on Toledo games, like two? If one guy changes his opinion the patterns are flipped. _________________
