NFL Network's Adam Schefter reports Chris Chambers' name has come up in trade talks across the league in recent days. Schefter says Reggie Williams and Michael Clayton are also being dangled by their respective franchises. Chambers has always been overrated by fans and the media, and that a receiver-weak Dolphins team would shop him just goes to make that more obvious. He might bring back a third-round pick as compensation. Williams and Clayton would likely net late-round choices.

Randy Moss went for a 4th so Chambers wont go higher then a 4th round pick. _________________

You cant judge trades based off other trades.
Wes Welker went for a tendered 2nd, and Moss & Chambers are easily better then him.
DJ Hackett was also tendered for a 2nd, no ways he better then either of them either. |

but welker was traded befor moss and if welker was traded after moss did for a 4th he whould never went for a tendered 2nd since this moss traded teams wont be unlikey to traded high drafts picks away for lesser talent. i chould see a team trade there 4th for Chambers but nothing higher. _________________

The Moss deal still doesn't set the value for all WRs. Keenan McCardell went for a 3rd and a 5th. I could see Chambers going for a 3rd. |

Chris Chambers. The most overrated wide receiver this side of Plaxico Burress.
Any team that is willing to give up anything higher than a sixth round pick should be shot out back of the barn. _________________

The Lions should just trade for him. 3 rounder, sounds good. Then I don't have to order a custom jersey with my name on it. _________________ it's week 3 and The Lions are already getting me excited about who our #1 draft choice will be in 09!! |
