That's not a surprise. Why else would they trade up in the first for him? _________________

We werent sure if he would be ready to start by the beginning of this season or if his transition to the pro level would take part or an even entire season. Needless to say NinerNation is quite happy with the quick results. |

Quite happy, indeed.
This has the makings to be a very good 49ers draft. _________________

You do realize that Leonard Little combined for 0 sacks in two games against San Francisco last year? _________________

Me either, but Staley has performed very, very well. There's a good chance he might be the best tackle selected in the draft. I'm not sure how Joe Thomas or Levi Brown have been doing, but Staley has been doing marvelous. _________________

| Forgive my ignorance, but do you run theZBS or an old school in your face blocking style in SF? |

Isnt he a great run blocker, but struggles vs speed rushers? Why not move him inside to guard? Does he have the size for that? |
We have attempted this and it failed misserably. Kwame is a great run blocker but has no idea what to do when it somes to pass coverage. His feet are terrible and he is very weak for an offesnive tackle. I also thought we should've moved him to G but he didn't translate very well to the position and thus the draft selection of Joe Staley our new RT |
actually, no the 49ers have not tried to move Kwame to G...where and the heck did you get this bogus info from? We've always had him at T, we tried moving Snyder to G but Kwame, no....alot of 49er fans WANTED the team to try him there but they haven't done so...he's 6'7" which is a little to tall for a G anyways, his stance wouldn't be too good plus the 49er G's are fine as it is |

Actually Joe Staley was a TE before making the switch to OT in college...but I dont see him playing TE now that hes gained all that weight to be a lineman.
I wouldnt mind the vikings trading a junk pick, such as a conditional 6th (in other words a pick that will never go to them) for Kwame just as a guy to fight for the RT spot with Ryan Cook....and worse comes to worse, cut em'. _________________
