I really didn't think he made that much of an improvement form his Rookie Season last year. He will be loss for us but Idrees Bashir will take his spot until Alexander can show he can handle himself in are Defence. _________________

To say the least.
Its hard to say this without sounding like im flaming the Lions, but its making a below-average worse in my opinion.
Bullocks is definately a good player I will not rgue that, but its a terrible loss regardless. _________________

Everyone is over reacting to this news. He was a 2nd year player not a prow bowler. THey have dpeth at that position with Bashir and Alexander. Not saying it doesnt hurt but not that big of deal. His loss will suck but can be asorbed. _________________

The loss ain't going too drop us to 1-15 just because he Is gone thou It sucks when anyone gets hurt for the entire season & then gets put on I.R. _________________

Tough loss for the Lions.
I wonder if Kitna still thinks they are going to win 10 or more games now??? _________________

The 10-6 wins Kitna predicted was purely based on the Offence Performane not the Defence. Thou we aren't getting 10 Wins anyway try 7-9 for the Lions. _________________

As a Vikings fan, I greedly say "hahaha" behind closed doors.
As a husker Fan, "Oh My GOD! Noooo!!"
As a human Being, its not good at all and I hope this wont be one of those naging injureies that seem to keep coming back and haunting players careers. |

Really? Jon Kitna doesn't realize that there are two other phases to a football team and game, defense and special teams, that certainly effect the winners and losers of those football games? You'd think he would have figured that out at some point during his 11 years in the National Football League. Then again, he probably does realize this because in the interview in which he made his prediction, he didn't say anything about winning 10 games with just offense and not the rest of his team. Perhaps you're the one confused? _________________

If Gerald Alexander wins the starting job, he will suprise. I promise. The guy is a perfect fit for the Cover 2 and he will live up to his 2nd round selection.
Bullocks is a very good talent and it will come to be a great loss in the early parts of the season. Once the secondary gels, I think the production will improve based on experience.
I hate to say this, but atleast this happend in the preseason. The team now has the chance to work in their new starter rather than plugging a guy in midseason. Get the guy reps with first team and who knows, you could find a stud. _________________

You like everyone else is blowing this out of proportiion. Losing a 2nd year Safety will not make the Lions lose any more games. All around Alexander has better skills than Bullocks but Bullocks had the year in system. This does not hurt that bad. _________________

Makes an already thin secondary even thinner.
Losing half your starters in the defensive backfield is not a good offseason for your DBs. _________________

Bullocks is a lot faster than alexander. Alex has better hands and might be better in space but bullocks is the best athlete, but he's a natural SS and not a FS. |

Which 90 percent of this forumn fails to realize. Alexander is a better fit at FS than Bullocks. Bullocks belongs at SS. This isnt a huge deal. _________________

Thats a shame. Hes a good young player.
I don't mean to pile on the Lions fans right now, but WOW, I can't believe that the Lions already terrible secondary just got worse. I'm not hating, I'm just stating facts. They have nobody at cb and now have nobody at safety. Its gonna be rough on defense for Detroit. |
