That doesn't make him popular. He still isn't in the top 20 best qb list or w/e _________________

Man, the Falcons really dropped the ball on that one. They really needed a veteran QB there to backup Harrington. Who else is out there for them now?
And the Eagles should be thrilled as they basically got a free draft pick for a guy they were going to drop anyway. |

Pretty good trade, which will helps both teams. The Vikings needed a veteran QB behind Tarvaris Jackson, and we needed to unload Kelly Holcomb (a QB that the Bills basically give us, in the Spikes trade), before the start of the season.
I am glad we got a 6th round pick for him, a lot of team seemed to be interested in him… _________________

Elaborate, please. | Maybe it has something to do with a 34 year old being a bum his entire career?
5400 yards, 37tds and 37ints are nothing to write home to mom about in 11 years.
Are the Vikings in need of a starter that bad or did they trade for a backup?!?! Should have contacted the Titans for Rattay, younger or Collins, more experienced _________________ Patriots are cheaters, Nuff Said! |

I'm happy we traded him, I'll settle for a 6th, but I'd rather have a 5th. _________________

He will be a decent backup though. Just don't expect many long passes. He's an expert at throwing 4 yd passes when its 4th and 8.......... _________________

Yes, he's being acquired solely as a veteran backup. If we're lucky, he'll never see the field. However, I feel a lot more confident with him backing up Tarvaris than Bollinger. _________________

I think this is a good pickup for the Vikings. They need a vet backup for Jackson and Holcomb fits that perfectly. I don't know how he will do with the Vikings but in his limited playing time with the eagles he led them on a scoring drive against Baltimore which none of our other QB's did. _________________
