They should start Quinn. He looked pretty good in the pre-season, he shut me up. Besides Charlie Frye is average at best. _________________

Surprising, seeing his strong start...
My prediction was that Frye would start and Quinn would take over. |
Strong start against 3rd and 4th string defenses. Pretty much what he was good at in college, picking on bad defenses. Id like to see how he does against an average starting NFL defense.
I agree he will be starting by midseason though, unless by some miracle Charlie Frye pulls a Drew Brees and the Browns are still in the playoff mix. _________________

You must have missed his first 2 drives of yesterday's game, huh? Dre Bly is far from a 3rd or 4th sringer. _________________

Actually, bailey was also on the field for quinns first drive where he almost threw a touchdown to Joey J... but joey j couldnt pull in both feet (although, it was very contestable). _________________

regardless of how good bly is its still the preaseason, teams blitz less, and players that are sure first stringers, dont try as hard _________________

I'm not annointing Quinn as anything, I fully understand that he needs to prove himself in the regular season. I'm just correcting FourThreeMafia's misinformation.
Quinn played, and moved the ball, against Denver's 1st team defense. _________________

quinn looked good both games. i am getting more optomistic about him. of course two games doesn't make a career but right now he is looking poised and throwing very accurate. how will he look after throwing a pick? will he come back the next series? he really has not faced any adversity yet. great q.b's over come that. last week his critics said he was playing against third and fourth stringers. this week he played against first and second stringers and looked good. _________________ browns and indian fan 7272

If I'm Quinn, I want no part of the starting job to begin the season and that seems to be exactly what the Browns are thinking. The Browns start to the season:
vs Pittsburgh
vs Cincy
@ Oakland
vs Baltimore
@ New England
It'll be a miracle if they win one of those games. Maybe Oakland but I don't think so. So after they start 0-5 or 1-4, Quinn can come in and play some better games against Miami and in St. Louis, where at least the defense won't kill him. It'll keep him out of the lion's den, at least for a while. |

| TDFAST - good point man, I see them as going 1-4 or MAYBE 2-3 at very best but Quinn should come in afterwards and light it up |
