He's currently a free agent. Right now the first four WR spots are set and Looker and Ridgeway are the top two competing for the 5th spot. I wouldn't mind seeing Az back with the Rams if he actually fit in somewhere, but he doesn't. _________________ My teams:

I can't remember his name, but he only played 1 year of college football at a small school, then transferred to East Carolina for track where his track coach made him quit football. He's 25 years old and has been out of football for about 5 years. Don't expect anything from him for a few years because he'll be no more than a practice teamer or NFL Europe allocation. _________________ My teams:

I can't see Az coming back to the Rams because quite frankly their third and fourth wideouts are better the starters on other teams.
I was at Qwest field when the Rams knocked the Seahawks out of the play offs and Curtis was absolutely flying down the field.
McDonald is pretty fast too and has made some clutch catches - like that 50+ yard TD catch he caught in OT against the Seahawks.
Bottom line - Curtis and McDonald would be at least one position higher on the depth chart than they are now if they were on another squad. |

Hakim was released by Detroit and visited with the Chiefs just this week, still searching for a team. The Chiefs also brought in Freddie Mitchell a day after meeting with Hakim.

I have to agree. It looks like injuries has done Hakim in, although Vermiel has a soft spot for former Rams and may give him a shot.

Update: just read that the Chiefs and Hakim are talking contract. Vermeil wanted to sign both Hakim and Mitchell but decided on Hakim.

If you go to the Chiefs forum, I posted a KFFL article there about the contract talks with Hakim and KC

I think he should do fine in KC. It seems a lot of older players that arrive in KC tend to extend their careers longer. As for the Rams, I hope to see Marshall Faulk still be involved with the offense. I know he will be, but how much is the question?
