1. bring a veteran player in who could be are leader on defense
2. He would be excellent at controlling middle reading defenses
3. Excellent run stopper for 6.4ft 255lb frame
4. do I need to keep on going
only concern is injury and how much money may he want? |

| he is known as a pass rusher from the strong side in a 3-4. He holds the Ravens team record for sacks. He has never been THE leader of his D. In our system the LBs preferably do not rush the passer. Presumably he could play inside for us but we have passed over better fits for our system already. If we went after him it would be to play LDE most likely, not LB and most assuredly not MLB. If we sign a free agent to play the middle for us it will be Morris IMO. Additionally he turned down 2 mil base with 2 mil in incentives from Balt. Are we willing to take a 4.5M cap hit on an injury risk player we intend to move to a position he has never played? |
