I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. It seems like the same set up as last year though. Hire scouts, sent the kids you sign to the academy, etc. No idea if they actually grow in the academy though.

Who's everyone play with the best? For me its definitely PSG or Man City. Still love using Milan, LA Galaxy, Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid though.

On Career Mode, I'm a striker. My manager at Crewe Alexandra keeps playing me at midfield. How do I get him to play me at striker?

Anyone else feel every game plays out the same on World Class? I am usually tied or down 1/ up 1 vs the PC and when there is about 20 minutes left, the computer cannot be stopped, and I lose by 2-5 goals.

I made my guy as a forward, but on the right side, so RF. My team ran a 1 forward system, so the next right OF position was RM. So I made a new guy as a central forward and now I play striker for Coventry.

I have noticed that as well, but in general FIFA has been like that for awhile, I haven't played a ton of FIFA 13 tho... (I made the PES switch and am never looking back unless FIFA changes drastically)

How are you liking PES? Considering getting that myself. I actually enjoy FIFA but just want something new.

How are you liking PES? Considering getting that myself. I actually enjoy FIFA but just want something new. |
I think both excel at some things but fall short in others...
PES excels from someone who wants to see the whole pitch. It seems that the AI runs with a purpose and creates space. It just feels realistic the AI trying to create space for teammates, the playing seems more organic. FIFA excels at someone who wants too be focused on themselves. PES seems to have better interaction amongst a team but FIFA seems to do a better job in creating a single player realism. From the 360 degree controls, right stick dribble ect it puts you as an individual as the focal point. Also it seems that who you use to do specific things in PES matters more than it does in FIFA.
PES seems more unpredictable than FIFA, you get more deflect ions, scrambles in goal whereas FIFA is finally starting to get some of that with their first touch. PES can accurately portray the more hectic moments of the sport but can sometimes be a little too end-to-end, FIFA, on the other hand, does a great job at simulating the methodical side of the sport.
PES seems to be more realistic when it comes to gameplay, teams tend to play true to style and the AI seems to make substitutions based on how things have gone on the pitch. It seems as I played the various teams in the game they all had a distinct style that was clearly seen. FIFA seemed better when I was playing with a friend than playing vs the AI, their teams when playing vs the AI seemed to all play the exact same.
Overall it seems like FIFA is an arcade game and PES is more of a simulation game. FIFA does the cosmetic things better than PES, no doubt, they've got all the flashy modes, licenses, etc, but the gameplay, AI, player & team identity, and realism are vastly superior in PES and the file options that you can find on many sites negate FIFA's advantage there...

The one thing that bothers me about PES is the licenses but I think I can look past it. I've heard the customization is a lot better than FIFA.

Yeah that bothered me as well when I started but then like I said after some searching I found the PES option files that you can download very easily (at least 4 ps3) and that makes up for it. There are people that put alot of hard work into it...

So I need a win to win the division title (Division 10, just got the game). I score a goal in the first 5 minutes and the opponent immediately quits. I'm not given the win.
Now every time I try to find a game it loses connection. 2nd straight day since I got it where this has happened. SMH
