I know this issue is getting old but read this

Its starting to look more and more like owens wont be an eagle this season. Lurie has basicly said that the eagles are not going to renigotiate with TO. It dosent seem to bother anybody in eagles management so im taking that as a good sign. Andy Reid is still going to put together a championship caliber team with or without TO and i dont think hes worth any more than what hes being payed. What do you guys think about all this?

at this point i really dont care if t.o. plays or not. its still early though, this thing can get fixed, but if neither sides budge i wouldnt care if he didnt play for us.

It would be stupid for the Eagles to release/get rid of Owens. If he wants to sit out the season he breeches his contract and doesn't get paid. I can't see him not being an Eagle this upcoming season though.

He plays for us or he doesn't play at all, no other option.

i think that the eagles should just let TO sit out the remaining six years on his contract. there's nothing he can do about it if he doesnt want to play, and then after his contract's up (when he's in his mid 30's) he can go sign the contract that he wants.

I am a cowboys fan and I come in peace. I have tons a respect for McNabb, Andy Reid and the Eagles all togather....except for, you know who T.O. He is one of the most selfish and disrespecting football players I have ever seen in my life. When he went out and spiked the ball in the Star of Pride(I made it up, not the real name) I almost had a Heart attack. The Eagles Orginaztion went way out of character signing a player like that , because Andy Reid usually likes to stay away from selfish me-first players. They should take the cap hit and release him or he will tear your team apart.
