I thought it might be cool to breakdown each position.

Thats 7 players, 46 to go

I agree, however I wish there was some way that Jammal Branch could be used or something. I enjoyed watching him play. He could probably make another teams squad.

Anyway, I think QB and RB positions won't have too many questions about who will be there.

WR is a different story.

(6)

Marques Colston
Devery Henderson
Terrance Copper
Robert Meachem
David Patten
Rhema McKnight*** my opinion

Stecker is gone I think. They'll keep Branch over him, I think, as he will be a good deal cheaper (1 year vet minimum = $360K, Stecker is making $1.25m).

My WR group:
Colston
Dev
Meachem
Copper
Jamal Jones
Lance Moore (He'll be our main return guy I think)

I'll break the O streak and go D

CBs:
McKenzie
David
Freddy Thomas
Craft
Young
David Jones

Not sure how many they will keep. Anwar Phillips is possible practice squad with Rhema McKnight, Jamal Branch, and a few others.

Your only saying we keep 3 DE's total. There are 2 on the field for just about evey defensive play. I say we will keep at minimum 5.

The other 2 defensive ends we currently have on the roster are Josh Cooper and Anton Palepoi. What other 2 guys should we cut in order to keep these 2?

We also have Willie Evans and Jon Hamm. That makes 7 total DE's on the roster right now. I would say from your list we let Kevin Dudley go and keep at least one more DE

I agree

Dudley could be put on Practice Squad,
In the event that Karney is hurt during a game, a TE could temporarily fill his position or adjust the gameplan as needed.

I personally couldn't give a good opinion on the players themselves because I'm not very familiar with any of the DE's beside Grant, Smith, and Ninkovich.
