Buffalo's 2008 Free Agents:
QB - Craig Ochs (RFA)
WR - Sam Aiken (UFA)
TE - Brad Cieslak (RFA)
TE - Matt Murphy (UFA)
TE - Ryan Neufeld (UFA)
PK - Nick Setta (UFA)
OG - Jason Whittle (UFA)
DL - Mark Word (UFA)
LB - Mario Haggan (UFA)
LB - Roy Manning (RFA)
LB - Josh Stamer (UFA)
SS - Jim Leonard (RFA)
FS - Rob Lee (RFA)

This bodes well for the Bills as there are no big names on that list and it shouldn't be too hard to resign the players Buffalo wants to keep.

Buffalo's 2009 Free Agents:
QB - J.P. Losman (UFA)
QB - Craig Nall (UFA)
RB - Anthony Thomas (UFA)
WR - Roscoe Parrish (UFA)
WR - George Wilson (UFA)
TE - Kevin Everett (UFA)
C - Melvin Fowler (UFA)
OL - Duke Preston (UFA)
DL - Darwin Walker (UFA)
LB - Angelo Crowell (UFA)
CB - Jabari Greer (UFA)

I would expect Buffalo to sign Losman to an extention following the 2007 season should he play up to expectations. I think Angelo Crowell will end up being a tough loss should he be lost to free agency.

Overall the next couple of years look pretty good in terms of potential free agency losses. Realistically Buffalo will take a step back in 2007 as this is an obvious rebuilding year. However, it is a good year to do so as the Bills can truly build for the future.

After reading some of the responses in True Vike's thread it appears there are some errors. This reminded me of a similar thread we had 2-3 months ago:
