Good article from BuffaloBills.com:

http://buffalobills.com/news/news.jsp?news_id=4930

I loved this quote:

Quote:
A few hours before the game at M&T Bank Stadium Ryan bumped into Bills offensive line coach Jim McNally on the field and told him what he thought of Peters.

"Rex Ryan said, 'Wow. We didn't really see you play, but after we saw you play we would have voted for your left tackle for the Pro Bowl,'" recalled McNally.

Ryan confirmed to Buffalobills.com that had he been aware of Peters' abilities prior to voting for the Pro Bowl in mid-December he would have made him an AFC selection.

"I was just thinking that if we had our Pro Bowl voting we would have changed it," Ryan told Buffalobills.com. "We never knew the kid, but our vote had already taken place. He's a terrific player, great talent, great athlete. He can bend his knees, he handles movement and change of direction. He's outstanding."

Very interesting......I hope he makes the pro bowl. Its definately a great thing knowing you have a top tier LT, and with Jim McNally coaching im sure it will happen eventually.

There are so many good LTs in the AFC I dont know if Peters could make it. Jon Ogden, Willie Anderson, Marcus McNeill, etc.

Either way your right, but him and Marcus McNeill are the next studs at the position.

I agree with that. What kind of size does Peters have?

He's 6'4 and probably a little under 350.

He's listed at 6'4, 328 but McNally says in the article hes almost 350.

Haha Marcus McNeill is 6'8" and 340. He never played TE.

Ogden isn't what he used to be
McNeill is young but already has a better reputation, which is what 95% of o-line voting is based on.
If Glenn really is retiring, Peters' chances just got better.

He only has the rep because of his market and the spotlights on Tomlinson,Gates and Rivers. After this year Peters will no longer be Buffalos best kept secret.

As a new wave of elite OTs begins to develop, the other generation begins to retire. These young guys have better and better chances.
