Garrard wouldn't be released.
He is solid.
Quinn Gray is the most likely one, I think.
And don't come with the money concerns argument because we cleared up an excess of 3.5 million by cutting Darius. _________________

I'm glad to hear it. Getting rid of Daunte's baggage will help the team install Trent Green easier and allow him to become the vet QB leader for this team.
Meanwhile, it gives Daunte a chance to carve his niche somewhere else... I hope he does well. He's been through a lot of crap and he's still got a good arm, it's just the mental aspect of the game.
Really, I want to point something out though... has anyone noticed that in his two years WITHOUT Scott Linehan as an OC, he's been absolutely godawful? Maybe backing up Bulger with the Rams might be a good job for him. _________________

He would be a horrible fit in Detroit. He is nowhere near a Martz style QB and Martz is grooming 2nd round pick Stanton for the future while Kitna starts. Even all those Kitna haters cant say Pepper is better than Kitna. _________________

Also we already have 4 QBs on our roster with the addition of O'Sullivan
Kitna
Stanton
Orvlosky
O'Sullivan
I say there is about a .00000000000000001% chance that Culpepper ends up in detroit _________________ Life is like an item box: you never know what you're gonna get.....unless you're in last place, then you will probably get lightning

Do you understand how bad the terms where when he left Minnesota?
He burned his bridges like no other. As long as Brad Childress is the coach, Daunte has no chance. Maybe even as long as Mr. Wilf is the owner, since he gave Culpepper a raise with the promise of more and Daunte quickly left town. _________________

I have a strong feeling he's going to end up in ATL. If this Vick situation really plays out unfavorably, then he can automatically step in and start, but the problem is, if vick gets suspended, when Vick returns, there's going to be a hairy situation in ATL, if Culpepper would go there, and especially if he plays well. _________________

I'd look for him to end up in Jacksonville, Atlanta St. Louis or Oakland.
Jacksonville- Everyone knows these reasons.
Atlanta- With the possibility of Vick being suspended and/or sent to jail I'm sure everyone is regretting letting Shuab go. Arthur Blank is one of the most community conscious owners and I can’t imagine he is thrilled with the prospect of Vick being the face of the franchise. Assuming he’s healthy Daunte could be a good stand in for a year or two until a QB of the future can be drafted and prepped for play.
This is an outside shot but Oakland- Daunte would be a good stand in until Jamarcus is ready to go. Their playing styles look to be pretty similar as well.
I'm not a big fan of Daunte but I'm actually pretty disgusted with the Dolphins organization. In 2005 Duante didn't have a good year before the injury but that doesn't erase the fact that for the previous five years he was one of the best in the league. You don't mysteriously forget how to play the game. After that he was rushed back from a horrible injury, given medical clearence to play when he clearly wasn't ready, forced into game time situations which left him exposed* and when the team no longer had use for him they had no problem dragging out the process well beyond the point where it was clear he was leaving. I didn't agree with what happened with McNair last season and this is the same thing. Really it is the ugly side of the league which is becoming more and more common.
*I can't hold the poor play of the offensive line or the Duante's limited mobility against the organization. However, after the first game it should have been clear that something was wrong and changes made to the game plan and blocking scheme to give the team a better chance. Really that falls on Nick Saban. _________________

why does everyone believe Garrard is better than Leftwich? |
because unlike Leftwich, Garrard doesnt pump the ball down to his ankles during his throw release. _________________ "I'm no relief quarterback. I don't mop up for anybody."

I think the Jags would make a run at him and I can honestly say that if we would sign him...I would want Garrard cut and not Gray. Gray showed me something in the game against the Chiefs last year that Garrard couldn't show me in 20 or so starts he has had. _________________

just because Byron brings the ball down past his waist before he throws means Garrard is better than him? thats the most ludacris comment i have ever heard |
