well Ron Bartell will start now, he really came on late last season but he is better suited as a nickelback and Jonathan Wade or Lenny Walls will be the nickelback for the 4 games. |

Substance abuse. We don not know if this is Roids or if it is repeated Weed, or Coke related infractions.
Hard luck Brown was shping up as a nice CB I would love to see Boldin or Fitz vs Ron Bartell.

If it was steroids, I think there would have been a bigger buzz. He got the standard 4 games, probably for drugs.

So this brings the list of suspensions this upcoming season to nine by my count. Am I missing anyone from this list?
Titans - Pacman Jones [season]
Bengals - Chris Henry [8 games]
Chiefs - Jared Allen [4 games]
Free Agent - Tank Johnson [8 games]
Broncos - Kenny Peterson [4 games]
Raiders - Dominic Rhodes [4 games]
Bucs - Torrie Cox [4 games]
Broncos - Sam Brandon [2 games]

the NFL never intentionally releases any information about what a player is suspended for in the substance abuse policy. Either the player or in some instances the media eventually releases that. |

He might match up better with them because he has better speed and size at 6'1" 195.The only thing is he has very little experience. He might get burned their fist matchup, but I think he will retain the starting job and have a good game the 2nd matchup. I think Brown will be the nickel back. |

With Fakhir Brown our secondary actually isnt weak by any means. We were ranked 8th in pass defense last year and Tye Hill will be much better this year. At the very most you could argue that our secondary is average, but certainly not weak or bad.

Yeah we still got pretty solid safeties. We still got Bartell. The only thing I am worried about is who will play nickel back now that Bartell will be the #2 guy. Wade is very raw but has a lot of talent and Walls is big and physical but has not proved much in the NFL. |
