Quote:
The activation could be a procedural step in the process of terminating the seven-year veteran's contract. In two years since signing with the Colts, Simon has been paid more than $14 million in bonuses and salary but played only 13 regular-season games.

With the extension to Freeney, the money has to come from somewhere.

Corey Simon is the only mistake Bill Polian has ever made. Im sure he'll do everything he can to remedy this.

Correction

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2935774

Quote:
Several media outlets reported Friday that Simon was moved from the PUP list, where he spent all last season with what the Colts reported was a case of polyarthritis. But a league spokesman said that Simon was still on the PUP list and that a notation on the NFL.com site, indicating that he had been activated, was actually a clerical error.

Simon was even surprised to hear that he was "activated" which made me wonder if he was really. They're not going to do anything until the griveances are dealt with.

ESPN and Rotoworld are reporting he has not been activated from the PUP list.

1st - He's a moderator. That means you listen to what he tells you, and don't argue with it.
2nd - I don't believe you have messaging privileges.
3rd - If you want to stick around this site, you'll need to familiarize yourself with the forum rules, which are posted at the top of each page.

I believe that anyone can message you but you are not able to read it yet. As far as a mod pointing that out, the Webmaster (the man running the site) explains the rules at the top of each page, and each member here is expected to read and follow these rules. Here's a link:

http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=9338

And about us taking over this thread, I'm sure that the moderators and Webmaster feel that it's not a problem as long as you familiarize yourself with these rules and become an asset to this site.

Again, check that link before you make another post. If you have further questions, we have a feedback forum.

Thank You for changing your signature and being understanding about it.

We occasionally have to make public reminders to members especially with signature and avatar violations to not only let newer members know we are watching but to let veteran members know that we aren't letting posters get away with it.

As for finding other ways to contact you.... I would only e-mail/AIM/Yahoo Msgr you if this attempt didn't work first.

Thanks again,
stallyns
